  • Patent number: 5928012
Abstract: The present invention provides a compact lever-type connector with a large degree of freedom in design, which makes it possible to obtain a low-mating force. A lever 10 which has gears 26, and slides 30 which have racks 40 and cam grooves 36a through 36c and 37a through 37c that engage with cam followers of the mating connectors, are attached to a cap housing 2. The racks 40 are driven by the gears 26 of the lever 10. These racks 40 and the cam grooves 36a through 36c and 37a through 37c are respectively formed on opposite sides of the slides 30.

  • Patent number: 5915996
Abstract: An assembly of electric connectors and plug connectors and cap connectors used therein has guiding ribs providing for a smooth joining of the plug connectors and cap connectors, Ribs 16a, 16b and 16c extending from the bottom wall 14 are provided respectively in cavities 6, 8 and 10 of the cap connector 1. All ribs are of the same configuration and have outside surfaces 26, 28 perpendicular to the bottom wall 14, an outside surface 30 parallel to the bottom wall and a slanted surface 20 forming a roughly P-shaped cross section. In the plug connectors, slots of the same configuration as said ribs are formed, thus providing smooth connection by limiting vertical and horizontal deviations during their joining.

  • Patent number: 5829994
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a compact lever-type connector in which a lever can be fixed in specified positions. Lever (50) is installed on a side surface (24) of a housing (18) so that the lever (50) is free to pivot. The lever (50) has a lever main body (56) and an extensible lever (58) which is attached to the lever main body (56) so that the extensible lever (58) can be extended and retracted. Respective grooves (80), (82) and (84) are formed in the lever main body (56) and extensible lever (58). An arcuate rib (90) is formed on the housing (18). Only when the extensible lever (58) is extended are the grooves (80) (82) and (84) aligned so that the rib (90) can be accommodated by these grooves, thus allowing pivoting of the lever (50). In the initial and final positions of the lever (50), the extensible lever (58) can be extended and retracting relative to the lever main body (56).

  • Patent number: 5632536
Abstract: A plastic double-lock member (40) with guide grooves (44) extending in a mating direction for guiding ribs in a matable connector. Integral end walls (48) are formed to close inner walls of the guide grooves (44) at end portions of the guide grooves (44). The end walls (48) are formed with latching lances (50) to engage with an insulating housing (20). The provision of the end walls (48) minimizes the non-uniformity of cooling of the plastic material which comprises the double-lock member (40), thereby reducing undesirable deformation of the double-lock member (40) caused during contraction of the plastic material after molding.

  • Patent number: 5562501
Abstract: An electrical contact 1 is disclosed which eliminates the possibility of harmful deformations in a bent section of a resilient contacting strip 5 which is bent back from the front portion of a base section 2 of a female contact, even if it experiences a direct impact from a foreign object. Cut-outs 8 are made in the left and fight side walls 3 rising from the sides of the base section 2 of the female contact 1. On the left and right sides of the resilient contacting strip 5, in the vicinity of the bent section 53, protrusions 9 are made which face the left and right side walls 3. The spacing between the cut-outs 8 and protrusions 9 is selected in such a way that they make possible the movement of the resilient contacting strip 5 within allowed limits, but prevent any movement of the protrusions 9 beyond the permitted distance and direction when a foreign object makes a direct impact to the bent section 53.

  • Patent number: 5441425
Abstract: An electrical connector with electronic noise filtering structure is disclosed. Two slits (42) are formed in metal plate (40), which plate is secured on the rear of the electrical connector with through condenser (2). Slits (42) are formed to be at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the metal plate. The width of slits (42) expands or contracts in response to the housing's expansion or contraction due to temperature, and metal plate (40) adapts and prevents stress from accumulating in the through condenser solder section.

  • Patent number: 5365139
Abstract: An electronic apparatus which is equipped with an ultrasonic motor and which consumes only a small amount of electric power, is stable in performance, and is capable of accurately controlling the angular position is offered.A driving pulse storage circuit stores driving pulses corresponding to the environment of the components of the ultrasonic motor. A stopping pulse storage circuit stores stopping pulses corresponding to the environment of the components of the motor. An environment detection means detects the environment of the components. An output pulse-selecting circuit receives the output signal from a driving pulse-generating circuit and the output signal from a stopping pulse-generating circuit and produces output pulses corresponding to the output signal from a detection signal-generating circuit to a piezoelectric vibrator-driving circuit. The moving member and the output means are operated by ultrasonic vibration of the vibrating member.

  • Patent number: 5306137
Abstract: A formwork, a device for clamping the formwork and a mechanism for actuating the clamping are taught. The formwork includes two molds, which mount together. The clamping device secures the mounted molds and allows the formwork to operate. The clamping device includes a movable member and a tension member, which locks the movable member to protruding sections of each mold. This clamping device is duplicated along the length of the protruding sections. The mechanism for actuating the clamping exerts force upon the movable member to secure it between the tension member and the protruding sections. This same mechanism can withdraw the movable member from the clamp. By this, the clamping is accomplished and a more efficient formwork is achieved.

  • Patent number: 5217236
Abstract: An O-ring seal configuration between a motor unit and a reduction gear head of a geared-motor is improved. An, O-ring holder is defined by a flange face of a bracket, which is fit to a frame of the motor unit and a guide groove, which is formed on an outer face 7d of a circular boss. A circular vertical wall of the frame has a specific excess height over the flange face; whereby when the reduction gear head is coupled to the motor unit, the guide groove and the circular vertical wall cooperatively prevents the O-ring from become dislodged and misaligned in the coupling face and from slipping off of the bracket.

  • Patent number: 5079470
Abstract: A standing-wave type ultrasonic motor utilizing flexible standing-wave components. Protuberances are provided nearly at every other intermediate positions of the loops and the nodes of flexible standing-waves generated in the vibration member by the piezo-electric element or the electro-strictive element, and a moving member is brought into pressed contact with the protuberances so as to be frictionally driven. A standing-wave type ultrasonic motor is driven in the forward direction and in the reverse direction while fulfilling the reduction in size, stabilization in performance and improvement in efficiency.Furthermore, an analog-type electronic timepiece is obtained using display means that is driven by the standing-wave type ultrasonic motor, featuring reduced size and thickness.

  • Patent number: 5053661
Abstract: A geared motor having a gear case and a motor housing. The gear case contains reduction gears and a viscous grease which lubricates the reduction gears and fills the a gear case. An integrally formed main oil seal having a main lip and a dust lip and a sub oil seal having a sub lip are disposed between a rotor shaft of the motor and the motor housing. The sub oil seal is disposed between the gear case and the main seal to prevent the viscous grease and metal powder in the viscous grease resulting from wear of the gear (101) from jeopardizing the main seal. In some embodiments, a second grease is retained in a space formed between the sub lip and the main lip. An outer wheel of a ball bearing supports the rotor shaft and is fixed to the bottom of the motor housing so that the rotor shaft cannot move in its axial direction and so that the rotor shaft will be firmly sealed by the main oil seal and the sub oil seal.
