Patent number: 11572032Abstract: The vehicle body upper structure includes a rear roof rail, a retractor, a webbing, and an anchor. The rear roof rail extends along a roof panel of the vehicle body. The retractor is housed inside the rear roof rail and is fixed to the rear roof rail with a first fastening bolt. For example, the webbing is pulled out in a pull-out direction orthogonal to an axis of the first fastening bolt. A through ring changes a stretching direction of the webbing that restrains an occupant with the webbing to have an acute angle with respect to the pull-out direction.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2022Date of Patent: February 7, 2023Assignee: HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Hiroshi Kobori, Kazunori Hida, Ryoichi Kakioka

Publication number: 20050062015Abstract: Radiator coolant additives that include strontium mineral powder and increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions from internal combustion engines. In addition to the strontium mineral powder, the coolant additives include a surfactant that facilitates the scattering or dispersion of the strontium mineral powder when the radiator coolant additive is added to a radiator coolant. The coolant additives can also include a carrier, such as water and ethylene glycol. When used in a radiator coolant during operation of an automobile engine, the strontium mineral powder causes positive ions to be generated in the coolant. At the same time, negative ions are generated in the fuel within the cylinders of the engine. These ions result in an electromagnetic wave around the pistons of the engine, which enhances fuel combustion.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 2, 2004Publication date: March 24, 2005Inventor: Hiroshi Kobori

Patent number: 6606174Abstract: In a data transmission, a driving circuit 14 drives a light receiving element 15 in accordance with data from an external control circuit. In accordance with IrDA or remote control communication, driving capability of the driving circuit is changed. In a data reception, received data is transferred to a first or a second signal processing circuit in accordance with the IrDA or remote control communication and processed according to each communication format. In this configuration, a single light emitting or light receiving element permits data communication in different kinds of data communication formats.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1999Date of Patent: August 12, 2003Assignee: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tsutomu Ishikawa, Satoru Sekiguchi, Hiroshi Kobori, Kiyokazu Kamado, Hideo Kunio, Isao Ochiai, Kiyoshi Takada, Hiroshi Inoguchi

Patent number: 6252252Abstract: A mold 25 for molding semiconductor chips 23 and 24 serving as a light emitting element and a light receiving element, respectively, is made of a material capable of transmitting light. A groove 27 is formed on the region where light is emitted from and incident on the semiconductor chips so that it constitutes a reflecting face. Thus, the light is emitted and incident through the side E of the mold. In this configuration, the outer size of the light receiving element or light emitting element can be minimized, and the module provided with these semiconductor chips can also be miniaturized.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 1999Date of Patent: June 26, 2001Assignee: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideo Kunii, Toshiyuki Take, Hiroshi Inoguchi, Tsutomu Ishikawa, Masashi Arai, Hiroshi Kobori, Hiroki Seyama, Kiyoshi Takada, Satoru Sekiguchi
