  • Patent number: 6235413
Abstract: A slide surface construction is formed of a large number of truncated hexagonal pyramid-shaped metal crystals in a slide surface, with the area rate A of said truncated hexagonal pyramid-shaped metal crystals being in a range of 40%≦A≦100%. A top face of each of the truncated hexagonal pyramid-shaped metal crystals has a plurality of flat face portions, with a step provided between adjacent ones of the flat face portions. Each of the truncated hexagonal pyramid-shaped metal crystals is a (hhh) oriented metal crystal which has a body-centered cubic structure and whose (hhh) plane (by Miller indices) is oriented toward the slide surface.

  • Patent number: 5897968
Abstract: A slide surface construction of a slide bearing is formed of an aggregate of two different metal crystals. The sliding condition of a first region of the slide bearing is more severe than that of a second region. The (2hhh) oriented metal crystals having a body-centered cubic structure with their (2hhh) planes (by Miller indices) oriented toward a slide surface exist in the first region. The content S.sub.2hhh of the (2hhh) oriented metal crystals is set in a range of S.sub.2hhh .gtoreq.20%. These crystals have a high hardness and are in the form of fish-like metal crystals in the slide surface and hence, an aggregate of these metal crystals has a good oil retention. The (hhh) oriented metal crystals having a body-centered cubic structure with their (hhh) planes (by Miller indices) oriented toward a slide surface exist in the second region. The content S.sub.hhh of the (hhh) oriented metal crystals is set in a range of S.sub.hhh .gtoreq.40%.

  • Patent number: 5379454
Abstract: A tuner having a programmable frequency divider which selects a broadcast station in accordance with a frequency division number, and a broadcast station selecting device. The selecting device includes an input device for inputting information representing a broadcast station; a memory means for storing information representing a plurality of broadcast stations and for storing frequency division numbers respectively corresponding to the stored information; and a control circuit for reading from the memory he stored frequency division number corresponding to the inputted information by the input device, and for supplying the read frequency division number to the programmable frequency divider so that the programmable frequency divider will select a broadcast station in accordance with the supplied frequency division number.

  • Patent number: 5301355
Abstract: An infrared remote control signal is entered into a receiving circuit where it is converted into an electrical, modulated signal made up of a carrier and a command signal. The modulated input signal is sent to a control signal output circuit where it is filtered to send only the carrier of the remote input signal to a frequency-voltage conversion circuit. The frequency-voltage conversion circuit generates a control DC voltage according to the carrier frequency. The control DC voltage changes the pass band characteristic of a voltage-controlled filter in such a manner that the voltage-controlled filter selectively passes the desired fundamental frequency component and harmonic components of the carrier signal. The voltage-controlled filter also passes the command signal component. Thus, at the output of the voltage-controlled filter is obtained a modulated output signal whose carrier frequency is varied from that of the modulated input signal.

  • Patent number: 5123051
Abstract: A sound field reproduction apparatus comprises a reflectional sound signal generating circuits for generating quasi-reflectional sound signals by summing a plurality of delay signals obtained by delaying source signals in order, and amplifiers for amplifying the level of quasi-reflectional sound signals. The apparatus is characterized by a signal selecting and repeating device for alternatively repeating either the quasi-reflectional sound signals and the source signals, or source signals different from the above-described source signals. With this feature, it becomes possible to reproduce source signals other than the source signals for use in the sound field reproduction.
