  • Publication number: 20060214333
Abstract: A dope produced from cellulose acylate, solvent and additive, is cast on a belt and peeled as a film containing the solvent, with use of a peel roller. Then the film is dried to a film. After the peeling, the film is transported with use of plural rollers in an transfer section. Each roller is provided with a temperature controlling device for controlling the surface temperature of each roller. A surface temperature is controlled in the range of Tm (° C.) to Tm+50 (° C.), if the melting point of the additive for the dope is described as Tm (° C.). While the drying is made with support of the roller, the transporting becomes stable, and the roll-print defects and the scratch defects are reduced. Thus the produced film is excellent in smoothness and optical properties.

  • Publication number: 20060184259
Abstract: A slight-vibration-suppressing mechanism is attached to a piston rod 6 of an air pressure cylinder that stops the piston at a target position by means of a positioning control. The slight-vibration-suppressing mechanism includes a friction member formed of a pair of sealing members being in contact with the piston rod, and an air cell of compressed air fed to a periphery of the piston rod is formed by means of the friction member. An air flow path to feed and discharge the compressed air to the aforementioned air cell is formed, in which the compressed air generates a sliding friction, which suppresses slight vibration, via the friction member between the piston rod and the aforementioned friction member.

  • Publication number: 20060165496
Abstract: To reduce installation space for neutralization devices of neutralization of static electricity generated by work levitation air in an air levitation apparatus which levitates plate-shaped work by jettisoning of air. With an apparatus wherein multiple air jets are provided on a work levitation face for levitation of plate-shaped work, so as to levitate the work by jettisoning of air, an ionization device for ionizing the air is installed in the supply channel of the work levitation air, thereby neutralizing the static electricity generated by the work levitation air that is jettisoned.

  • Publication number: 20060049535
Abstract: The dope prepared from a mixture solvent and solid contents such as cellulose ester and additives is cast on a drum cooled to ?5° C. to form a gel-like film. The gel-like film is peeled off from the drum. Tension of 60 kg/m is applied to the gel-like film in the widthwise direction thereof and the temperature of the gel-like film is kept 120° C., when the content of the solvent to the solid contents in the gel-like film is in a range of 100 wt. % to 20 wt. %. Further the gel-like film is dried to be a cellulose ester film having 40 ?m thickness. The IR spectrum of the cellulose ester film has a peak in a range of 520 cm?1 to 480 cm?1 which indicates the crystallization of the polymer. The cellulose ester film has tear strength of 12 g, Rth of 42 nm and Re of 1.2 nm. As crystallization of the polymer proceeds, the cellulose ester film has sufficient strength and optical properties.

  • Publication number: 20050281961
Abstract: Air is flown above a casting film. Further, plural guide boards are provided between an aeration duct and an emission duct in order to control the direction of air flow. The air passes through the direction at which the casting film moves. If the thickness data of the obtained film are continuously measured along the direction (except 90°) intersecting a longitudinal direction, the thickness unevenness is at most ±2 ?m when a thickness average is considered as a standard value zero and the value V is at most 300×10?5. V is calculated on the formula V=?{(dYn)/(dXn)}2/n, when the thicknesses at each point is defined as Yn, the each distance is defined as Xn between the said starting measuring point PS1 and each selected point. These points are selected on the line of the thickness data.

  • Patent number: 6969224
Abstract: A communication chamber defined in a body is supplied with a fluid under pressure through a pipe connected to a supply port defined in the body. The fluid under pressure is ejected from the communication chamber through fluid ejection members, which are made of a porous material and mounted on an end face of the body by a plate, toward a workpiece. The workpiece is levitated upwardly and held airborne by the fluid under pressure that is ejected toward the workpiece and the fluid under pressure that flows between the workpiece and the plate.

  • Publication number: 20050229593
Abstract: In an air servo cylinder formed by integrally combining an air cylinder, servo valves, and a controller via a manifold block, there are provided, in the manifold block, air discharge flow paths for releasing, to the outside, compressed air discharged associated with operations of the servo valves. In each of the air discharge flow paths, a silencer for reducing exhaust noise is incorporated so as not to protrude from the manifold block to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20050217475
Abstract: A method for controlling an air servo cylinder apparatus includes an advancing process of advancing a piston up to a target position by controlling, by a controller, servo valves individually connected to a pressure chamber on the head side and that on the rod side of the cylinder, and a pressurizing process of subsequently applying a required pressurizing force to the piston. In the advancing process, the piston starts to be driven with the servo valve on the head side opened to the air intake side and the servo valve on the rod side opened to the exhaust side. Thereafter, the opening degree of the servo valve on the rod side is varied into an opening degree in accordance with a deviation of the current position from the target position, and thereby the piston is smoothly decelerated as it approaches the target position.
