  • Patent number: 8642209
Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes an electrode body including a positive electrode and a negative electrode superimposed upon each other with a separator interposed therebetween. The negative electrode is superimposed upon the positive electrode in a state where a negative electrode active material layer, except the part on a proximal end part of a negative electrode tab, is positioned inside an outer edge of a positive electrode active material layer of the positive electrode. A width H1 of the negative electrode active material layer including the part on the proximal end part of the negative electrode tab, width H2 of the negative electrode active material layer or negative electrode current collector at a part other than the negative electrode tab, and width H3 of the positive electrode active material layer are formed to satisfy the relationships of H2<H3, and (H1?H2)?(H3?H2)รท2.

  • Patent number: 8558435
Abstract: A piezoelectric device has a piezoelectric vibration element mounted in a package wherein the piezoelectric vibration element comprises two stick-like vibration legs; a central leg provided between the two vibration legs; a coupling portion that couples one end of each of the two vibration legs and one end of the central leg; and a protrusion portion that is coupled to another end of the central leg, has a predetermined angle, neither 0 nor 180 degrees, to the length direction of the central leg, and extends into a direction not interfering with the driving legs. In making the piezoelectric device smaller and thinner, this configuration avoids interference between a support point on the central leg, provided for supporting the vibration element, and conductive electrodes, improves insulation between the conductive electrodes, and reduces the generation of short-circuits between the conductive electrodes.

  • Patent number: 7927096
Abstract: A heat treatment apparatus includes a support sheet placed on an upper surface of a heat-treating plate. The support sheet has, formed on an upper surface thereof, projections for contacting and supporting a substrate, and a lip for contacting edge regions of the substrate. The support sheet is formed by an etching process, and therefore areas of the sheet around the projections are recessed, rather than being perforated as in the case of laser processing. These heat-treating plate and support sheet constitute a substrate support structure capable of supporting the substrate properly.

  • Patent number: 6272225
Abstract: A key recovery condition encryption apparatus includes a hashing unit, a first concatenating unit, and a condition information encryption unit. The hashing unit calculates a hash value on the basis of a hash function using a key recovery information text serving as information necessary for performing key recovery. The first concatenating unit concatenates the hash value from the hashing unit to the key recovery condition. The condition information encryption unit encrypts a concatenating result from the first concatenating unit by using a first encryption key. Also is disclosed a key recovery condition decryption apparatus for decrypting the encrypted data from the above encryption apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6266421
Abstract: The present invention has an object to overcome problems of a key recovery system using a conventional KRF system and to achieve efficient operation of the overall key recovery system. A key recovery system of the present invention includes check units 12a, 12b for checking whether a user has a recovery authorization for a common key KS, on the basis of a recovery condition RC specified by a recovery condition index RCI which is added to an encrypted message (encrypted message obtained by encrypting the common key KS with a public key KRCpub) supplied from a terminal (10a to 10d) of the user concerned, and a key recovery control unit 14 which is provided separately from the check units 12a, 12b and decrypts the encrypted message with a private key KRCpri paired with the public key KRCpub to recover the common key. The check unit 12a, 12b supplies the common key KS recovered in the key recovery control unit 14 to the user concerned only when the user has the recovery authorization.
