  • Publication number: 20080000009
Abstract: In a glove having finger covering parts, a finger covering part corresponding to at least one finger selected from the third finger (middle finger), the fourth finger (ring finger), and the fifth finger (little finger) is configured by arranging protective members (2a to 2e) on anterior and posterior sides of the same, and arranging stretchable members (4a to 6a) on both lateral sides of the same. An inner perimeter of each finger covering part is substantially equal to an outer perimeter of the finger corresponding thereto. The stretchable members on the lateral sides of each finger have stretching forces such that a stretching force of the stretchable member on the lateral side on the first finger (thumb) side is higher than a stretching force of the stretchable member on the other lateral side on the fifth finger (little finger) side. When the glove is bent from an opened state to a gripping state, the finger covering part is bent with a twist at a gripping angle toward the first finger (thumb) side.

  • Patent number: 6937459
Abstract: The present invention is mainly configured of a separator for an electric double-layer capacitor that comprises an aramid fiber, a polyester fiber, a glass fiber, and a silica (inorganic compound for forming hydrosol) containing a particulate silica (particulate inorganic compound) of not less than 1 nm and not more than 500 nm, wherein total of the silica and the glass fiber is not less than 10 mass percent and not more than 50 mass percent; the electric double-layer capacitor comprising the separator; and a manufacturing method of the separator for the electric double-layer capacitor which method comprises a mixing process for mixing the aramid fiber, the polyester fiber, the glass fiber, and the silica sol and a paper making process for making paper from the mixture.

  • Patent number: 6695712
Abstract: A golf club head (11) has an ellipsoid of inertia (12) with its center at a center of gravity G. When the ellipsoid of inertia (12) is virtually cut with a plane passing through the center of gravity of the golf club head (11) and being parallel to a face surface (11f), a major axis of a plane ellipse (13) appearing on its cut surface forms an angle of &thgr; with an intersecting line (15) of the cut surface and a ground surface (16). The major axis extends upward and away from the ground surface (16) as it approaches a toe part (11t). The angle &thgr; is not smaller than 0.5° and not larger than 9.5°. An aspect ratio a/b defined by a ratio of the length a of the major axis (13d) to the length b of a minor axis (13e) of the plane ellipse (13) is not smaller than 1 and not larger than 4.

  • Patent number: 5943208
Abstract: A mechanism for mounting a storage device such as a magnetic disk device to a terminal device, capable of simplifying the attachment/detachment of the storage device, requiring a smaller number of parts for the attachment/detachment and preventing external shock from reaching the storage device. Storage devices are mounted to a frame made of a flexible material such as resin which, in turn, is fastened to a terminal device, without screws, by inserting a portion of the frame into a hole on the terminal device. Means made of a flexible material are provided on the upper surface of the frame for fastening the storage devices for absorbing the external shock or vibration by the elasticity thereof.

  • Patent number: 5604661
Abstract: A structure for mounting a switch to a front panel of an electric apparatus. Supporting members are arranged on the front panel to support an elastic member which can hold the switch under the elastic deformation of the elastic member. One support member is arranged one side of the opening in the front panel and another support member is arranged on the opposite side of the opening. The elastic member includes a pair of longitudinal webs adapted to engage with the lateral flap portions of the switch and at least one transverse web connecting the longitudinal webs together. The elastic member has tongues for engaging with the support member.
