Patent number: 7219923Abstract: There is provided a bio-signal detector to detect a heart rate and a respiratory rate so that the determination of a kind of a seat load placed on a seat can be made. That is, whether the seat load is a human or an object is determined, and if it is the human, then the physique size is determined to be small or large (the level of the physique size is determined). Accordingly, as compared with the means based only on a weight of the seat load, the determination result is highly reliable. Besides, with the use of the bio-signal detector, the discrimination between the human and the object is ensured. Moreover, a structure additionally including a weight sensor allows the determination of the physique size in more accurate manner.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2004Date of Patent: May 22, 2007Assignee: Delta Tooling Co., Ltd.Inventors: Etsunori Fujita, Hiroshi Nakahira, Yoshimi Enoki, Yumi Ogura

Patent number: 6366190Abstract: A magneto-spring structure includes a lower frame and an upper frame vertically movably mounted on the lower frame via a link mechanism. The upper and lower frames have respective permanent magnets secured thereto, with like magnetic pole opposed to each other. The link mechanism includes a plurality of links and a connecting member for rotatably connecting them via a bearing. The links are made of non-magnetic material, while the bearing is made of ferromagnetic material.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2000Date of Patent: April 2, 2002Assignee: Delta Tooling Co., Ltd.Inventors: Etsunori Fujita, Yoshimi Enoki, Hiroshi Nakahira, Eiji Sugimoto, Shigeki Wagata, Hideyuki Yamane, Shigeyuki Kojima, Kazuyoshi Chizuka

Publication number: 20010017542Abstract: A magnetic field measuring equipment capable of accurately and rapidly measuring a magnetic field produced in a three-dimensional space around a measured object (object to be measured) and visually displaying results of the measurement. The magnetic field measuring equipment includes a measuring instrument including a magnetic sensor arranged so as to be relatively movable in three-dimensional directions around a measured object, a computer including a data processing means for subjecting a magnetic field of the measured object to processing so as to permit the magnetic field to be visually displayed, on the basis of three-dimensional magnetic force data of the measured object measured by the measuring instrument, and a display acting as an output means for outputting results of processing by the data processing means.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2000Publication date: August 30, 2001Inventors: Seiji Kawasaki, Yoshimi Enoki, Shigeki Wagata, Hiroshi Nakahira

Patent number: 6232689Abstract: An energy converting mechanism includes at least two permanent magnets spaced from each other with the same magnetic poles opposed to each other, and a magnetic spring formed by the at least two permanent magnets. The magnetic spring provides negative damping characteristics or changes static magnetic energy by changing an opposing area of the at least two permanent magnets so that an output is extracted from one of the at least two permanent magnets by applying an input to the other.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 1998Date of Patent: May 15, 2001Assignee: Delta Tooling Co., Ltd.Inventors: Etsunori Fujita, Yoshimi Enoki, Hiroshi Nakahira, Seiji Kawasaki

Patent number: 6035980Abstract: A magnetic spring has at least two permanent magnets (2 and 4) spaced from each other in a kinetic mechanism. At the time of input and at the time of output, the geometric dimensions between the two permanent magnets are changed by the kinetic mechanism or an external force. The change in geometric dimensions is converted into a repulsive force in the kinetic mechanism, thereby (1) making the repulsive force from a balanced position of the two permanent magnets greater at the time of output than at the time of input, or (2) deriving a damping term of the magnetic spring to provide nonlinear damping and spring characteristics.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 1997Date of Patent: March 14, 2000Assignee: Delta Tooling Co., Ltd.Inventors: Etsunori Fujita, Yoshimi Enoki, Hiroshi Nakahira, Seiji Kawasaki, Hiroki Honda, Yumi Ogura

Patent number: 5503812Abstract: Fission noble metals contained in an insoluble residue and/or a high-level radioactive liquid waste generated in the step of reprocessing spent nuclear fuels are dissolved in nitric acid to prepare a palladium-containing nitric acid solution, which is then brought into liquid-liquid contact with an extracting solvent containing a dialkyl sulfide in which each alkyl group has 4 to 10 carbon atoms as an extractant to extract the palladium component into the extracting solvent. The palladium-containing extracting solvent is brought into liquid-liquid contact with an aqueous thio compound solution or aqueous ammonia solution to strip the palladium component into the aqueous solution. A borohydride compound in added to the palladium-containing aqueous solution to precipitate palladium from this solution by reduction, and metallic palladium is recovered by separating the precipitate from the aqueous solution.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 1994Date of Patent: April 2, 1996Assignees: Doryokuro Kakunenryo Kaihatsu Jigyodan, Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kenji Kirishima, Hisaaki Shimauchi, Hiroshi Nakahira, Haruo Shibayama, Yukio Wada

Patent number: 4532112Abstract: At least an equivalent amount of concentrated hydrochloric acid is added to antimony trioxide containing a substance emitting alpha rays, and they are stirred. Any undissolved residue is removed to prepare an aqueous solution of antimony chloride. Water is added to the solution, or a distillate obtained by distilling it at a temperature of at least 135.degree. C. The quantity of the water is at least 10 times by volume as much as the solution, or at least 20 times by volume as much as the distillate. The solution or distillate and the water are stirred at a temperature of at least 60.degree. C. to cause precipitation of antimony trioxide, and the precipitate is separated by filtration. The precipitate is washed with at least 10 times by weight as much warm water having a temperature of 60.degree. C., and dried. This antimony trioxide has an alpha-ray strength not exceeding 0.01 C/cm.sup.Type: GrantFiled: May 21, 1984Date of Patent: July 30, 1985Assignee: Sumitomo Metal Mining Company LimitedInventors: Hiroshi Nakahira, Shigeki Kubo
