  • Patent number: 9393736
Abstract: A film (F) is transported with one end side in a width direction moved relatively in a preceding manner and the other end side moved relatively in a delayed manner and thus the film (F) is stretched in an oblique direction with respect to the width direction. In the individual positions of the film (F) in the width direction, the film (F) is asymmetrically heated in the width direction such that the amount of displacement (?L) of an orientation angle from a desired angle caused by bowing (Bo) asymmetrically produced in the width direction by the stretching of the film (F) in the oblique direction is reduced, and thus a maximum value in the temperature distribution of the film (F) is present between a center portion in the width direction and any one of end portions.

  • Patent number: 9314960
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a long stretched film, including at least the steps of: forming a long film containing a thermoplastic resin; stretching the long film in an oblique direction; and winding the long film having been subjected to the oblique stretching. The oblique stretching is performed in a heating section including a preheating section, a stretching section, and a thermosetting section, the preheating section and the stretching section are separated from each other by a partition wall. The stretching section and the thermosetting section are separated from each other by a partition wall, each of the partition walls has an opening for permitting the long film to pass, and slide members independently movable on the opposite sides of the opening and in widthwise directions of the long film, the slide members can adjust the width of the opening and the widthwise position of the opening.

  • Patent number: 9316773
Abstract: In a stretching zone (Z2) included in a plurality of zones for performing temperature control for heating or cooling of a film, the plurality of zones being arranged in the conveyance direction of the film, the film is stretched in a direction tilted in relation to the width direction of the film. The film is heated by a heating unit (11) having a heating region (H) positioned facing the conveyed film and positioned along a direction intersecting at an intersection angle ? with the conveyance direction in the plane of the film, in at least one zone including the stretching zone (Z2) and positioned further downstream in the conveyance direction from the stretching zone (Z2). At this time the intersection angle ? of the heating region (H) is adjusted in accordance with the orientation direction of the film stretched in the stretching zone (Z2).

  • Patent number: 9266278
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an obliquely stretched long film includes an oblique stretching step and a tension application step. In the oblique stretching step, a long film is stretched in an oblique direction with respect to a width direction into a stretched film (F). In the tension application step, while the stretched film (F) is being drawn along a longitudinal direction, a tension in a drawing direction is applied to the stretched film (F). Here, in the tension application step, the tension in the drawing direction of the stretched film (F) is changed in the width direction, and thus the stretched film (F) is drawn.

  • Patent number: 9221207
Abstract: A method for producing a long stretched film according to one aspect of the present invention includes at least a film forming step of forming a long film made of thermoplastic resin, an oblique stretching step of obliquely stretching the long film and a winding step of winding the long stretched film after the oblique stretching step. The oblique stretching device includes gripping tool travel support tools at opposite sides of the traveling long film. Each of the gripping tool travel support tools includes a plurality of gripping tools. In the oblique stretching device, the gripping tool travel support tools provided at the opposite sides of the long film include the same number of gripping tools. A combination of the gripping tools forming a gripping tool pair is constantly the same at grip start points where the long film is gripped by the gripping tools.

  • Patent number: 9186837
Abstract: A method for producing a long stretched film according to one aspect of the present invention includes at least a step of forming a long film, a step of obliquely stretching the long film and a step of winding the long stretched film. A winding direction of the long stretched film can be arbitrarily changed to a direction oblique to a delivering direction of the long film. In the oblique stretching step, grip release points of gripping tools gripping opposite end parts of the long stretched film are independently movable in the winding direction of the long stretched film and so adjusted that a grip release line connecting the grip release points on respective opposite sides becomes parallel to the width direction of the long stretched film.

  • Publication number: 20100292542
Abstract: An arm structure includes: a pair of arms; a support post; a support member; a cam provided in one of the pair of arms; a shaft member inserted through a lateral insertion hole of the support member; and a pair of ring-shaped members provided in end portions of the shaft member, wherein by turning the one of the arms around its axis thereby to make the cam revolve, a force works to make the shaft member move, and due to its reaction force the ring-shaped members pressure-contact the support member and a slit portion is narrowed. As a result, a longitudinal insertion hole is diameter-reduced and becomes in a state of pressure-contacting the support post, leading to restriction of rotation of the arm around the support post, and the cam pressure contacts the one of the arms, leading to restriction of sliding of the arm in a long side direction, and the ring-shaped members pressure-contact the support member, leading to restriction of rotation of the arm by the shaft member.
