  • Patent number: 5760790
Abstract: A display system includes a display panel having matrix electrodes with scanning lines and information lines, a display information storage memory for storing display information, and a controller for comparing the information readout from the display information storage memory with write display information to be written in the display information storage memory. The controller stores address information for designating a scanning line corresponding to write display information different from the readout information and controls the matrix electrodes such that only a scanning line corresponding to the stored address information is scanned.

  • Patent number: 5758043
Abstract: An image processing method and apparatus which divides image information into a plurality of predetermined-sized partial images, and sequentially performs designated image processing by partial image, thus enables image processing of the read image data using a small memory capacity. In the apparatus, an image reader reads image information, in accordance with a designated reading size, and stores the read image data, as partial image data, into an image memory. Then, a designated special-effect image processing is performed on the partial image data stored in the image memory. An image output unit sequentially outputs special-effect image processed partial images.

  • Patent number: 5629717
Abstract: A display system includes a display panel having matrix electrodes with scanning lines and information lines, a display information storage memory for storing display information, and a controller for comparing the information read out from the display information storage memory with write display information to be written in the display information storage memory. The controller stores address information for designating a scanning line corresponding to write display information different from the readout information, scans the scanning line corresponding to the stored address information for a predetermined period of time and controls the matrix electrodes such that only a scanning line corresponding to the stored address information is interrupted after a lapse of the predetermined time period.
