  • Publication number: 20070082704
Abstract: A radio communication system includes a mobile terminal device to which a memory card is attached and a server device. The server device and the memory card transfer information to each other through the mobile terminal device by radio communication. This is achieved in the following manner. When receiving a start request from the server device, the mobile terminal device supplies power to the memory card. Furthermore, the mobile terminal device communicates with the server device, to prepare for information transfer to be performed between the server device and the memory card. After becoming able to operate, the memory card performs a boot operation. When completing the boot operation, the memory card starts information transfer with the server device through the mobile terminal device.

  • Publication number: 20060050332
Abstract: A document reading unit constituting an MFP reciprocates a reading glass holder in a direction of a vertical scanning at a low frequency (18 times per second) with use of a crank mechanism including a motor and gears. A stroke length of the reciprocating motion of a reading glass is 9 mm. This structure can make a line-shaped noise less noticeable, because a length of each portion of a line-shaped noise becomes 2.57 mm and a distance between adjacent portions of the line-shaped noise becomes 7.27 mm when a foreign object having a diameter of 100 ?m adheres to the reading glass.

  • Publication number: 20050209902
Abstract: A worker management system, which includes a plant 100 divided into a plurality of work areas each in correspondence to specific task contents, a database 220 having stored therein task identification information correlating each work area 112 with contents of tasks performed therein and worker detection sensors 130 installed in each work area, identifies the specific work area where a worker is currently located based upon outputs from the worker detection means and then identifies the task currently performed by the worker based upon the task identification information. Based upon the current task thus identified, a decision is made as to whether the worker should continue the current task or be assigned a new task and an instruction for task execution is issued to the worker. Therefore the identification of current tasks, the assignment of a new task and the task reassignment are facilitated to improve the work efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6942891
Abstract: Process exhaust gas is sampled, and the components of the process exhaust gas are analyzed by a Fourier-transform infrared spectroscope (FT-IR) (26). The analysis result is compared with a reference analysis result obtained from an analysis of process exhaust gas generated in an operation performed under reference process conditions. If the amount of a gas component changes to an amount that is outside a predetermined range set around a reference value obtained from the reference analysis result, a signal indicating a process error is outputted. Instead of the output of the signal indicating a process error, the process conditions can be automatically adjusted.
