  • Patent number: 9512878
Abstract: A weld line formed by injection molding of a sealing member is formed at a circumferential position out of deepest portions of axial grooves, which form thinned portions of the sealing member (optimally, in a region of a cylindrical surface between the axial grooves in a circumferential direction). Thus, the sealing member is prevented from being provided with parts having locally markedly low strength, and hence damage to be caused by press-fitting is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20160348750
Abstract: A base isolator according to an embodiment is provided between an object to be base-isolated and a foundation, and has an elastic body expanding and contracting to reduce horizontal vibrations generated in the object. The base isolator includes: an anchored portion anchored to the foundation; a base-isolation unit having the elastic body and provided on the anchored portion; a first anchoring groove provided on a first surface which is a surface of the base-isolation unit facing the anchored portion; a second anchoring groove provided on a second surface which is a surface of the anchored portion facing the base-isolation unit. An anchor simultaneously fits into the first and second anchoring grooves such that a horizontal movement of the base-isolation unit with respect to the foundation is restricted. The anchor removes restriction on the horizontal movement of the base-isolation unit when a predetermined force is applied in a horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 8282282
Abstract: A motion guide device is able to damp a moving block from vibrating in a direction perpendicular to an axis of a raceway rail. A damping plate with a surface facing a surface of a raceway is provided at a moving block body. The surface of the damping plate is set to be in contact with the raceway rail or is set such that a gap between its surface of the raceway rail is as close to zero as possible. When vibration occurs from the raceway rail or the moving block, the surface of the raceway rail and the surface of the damping plate come into contact with each other. This brings about change in a spring constant of the motion guide device in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the raceway.
