Abstract: Provided are an internal olefin sulfonate composition which shows excellent hue stability and excellent smell stability even when preserved for a long period of time, and a method for preserving an internal olefin sulfonate. The internal olefin sulfonate composition according to the present invention comprises an internal olefin sulfonate, one or more kinds of alkaline agents selected from among an alkali metal hydroxide and an alkaline earth metal hydroxide and water, wherein the content of the alkaline agents is 0.2 to 15 mmol inclusive per mol of the internal olefin sulfonate. The method according to the present invention for preserving an internal olefin sulfonate comprises mixing the internal olefin sulfonate at least with an alkaline agent to give a composition wherein the content of the alkaline agent is 0.2 to 15 mmol inclusive per mol of the internal olefin sulfonate.

Abstract: A rotary encoder includes a shaft and an encoder mechanism that holds the shaft in a rotatably inserted state and detects a rotation direction and a rotation angle of the shaft. The encoder mechanism includes a substrate that rotatably holds the shaft, an insulator portion and a resistor portion provided on one surface of the substrate and alternately provided in the rotation direction of the shaft, a rotor attached to the shaft so as to be integrally rotatable with the shaft, and a slider that is attached to the rotor and alternately slidably contacts the insulator portion and the resistor portion by rotation of the shaft. The insulator portion includes a base material made of a resin, spherical silica, and a fluororesin filler.
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a supervisory circuit includes a trigger determination circuit and a trigger table. The trigger determination circuit receives signal processing signals outputted from a plurality of signal processing circuits as trigger signals, determines whether processing operations by the signal processing circuits are executed in a predetermined order, and outputs an interrupt signal when detecting a trigger signal out of setting. The trigger table is provided with trigger-specific tables corresponding to the respective signal processing circuits, reads a trigger setting to occur next based on a trigger determined as being correct by the trigger determination circuit, and outputs a table read signal to the trigger determination circuit.
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to perform good illumination and obtain a good captured image when a plurality of users each having a camera-equipped portable information terminal device gather in the same place. A camera-equipped portable information terminal device is provided with: an imaging unit that captures an image of a subject; a first illumination means for illuminating the subject; a first communication unit that communicates with other portable information terminal devices; and a first control unit that controls the imaging unit and the first communication unit. The first control unit transmits a light emission instruction signal to the other portable information terminal devices via the first communication unit, and causes a second illumination means of each of the other portable information terminal devices to emit light in tandem with an imaging operation of the imaging unit.

The reaction step is carried out in the presence of a catalyst containing at least one transition element selected from the group consisting of Periodic Table group 3 transition elements, group 4 transition elements, group 5 transition elements, group 6 transition elements, and group 7 transition elements.
