    Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor, having a small equivalent series resistance, is formed by burying a capacitor element inside an epoxy resin outer package. The capacitor element includes an anode, having part of an anode lead buried therein, a dielectric layer formed on the anode and containing a niobium oxide, and a cathode formed on the dielectric layer. The cathode includes a first electrolyte layer containing a conductive polymer and formed on the dielectric layer, an intermediate layer containing an organic silane and formed on the first electrolyte layer, a second electrolyte layer containing a conductive polymer and formed on the intermediate layer, a first conductive layer containing carbon particles and formed on the second electrolyte layer, and a second conductive layer containing silver particles and formed on the first conductive layer.

    Abstract: Provided is a solid electrolytic capacitor with a high capacity occurrence rate and a high capacity and a method for manufacturing the solid electrolytic capacitor. An anode body is formed on a periphery of an anode lead having a hollow structure. The anode body has a porous body of a valve metal or an alloy of the metal as its main component. The hollow structure allows an inside and an outside of the anode body to connect with each other. A dielectric layer is formed on a surface of the anode body, and a conducting polymer layer is formed on a surface of the dielectric layer. When the conducting polymer layer is formed, the inside of the anode body is depressurized by suction from the outside of the anode body through the hollow structure of the anode lead.

An electric double layer capacitor element sandwiches a separator between a cathode and an anode, arranged inside a container comprising a concave shaped containing portion and lid. A first conductive layer on the inner bottom face of a containing portion is covered by an insulating layer, and opening portions formed on the insulating layer penetrate to the first conductive layer. A second conductive layer is formed on the insulating layer and inside the opening portions, and is connected to a cathode through a conductive adhesive. The first conductive layer penetrates through the side wall of the containing portion, and is connected to a connecting terminal. An anode is connected to a third conductive layer through a conductive adhesive, and a collector is connected to a connecting terminal by extending between the containing portion and the lid.
