  • Patent number: 6151104
Abstract: A negative mask unit which can perform exposure from either of reference film or new-type film simply by changing the direction of insertion of the negative film. The negative mask unit has a negative film feed passage provided between a base plate and a top plate. The film feed passage is composed of first to third feed passages. A negative mask is exchangeably set between the first and third feed passages. Two sets of mask-related members necessary to process reference film (135 film) and new-type film, including a film inlet, feed means, and sensors, are provided on one and the other sides of the negative mask, respectively. One of the sets is selected and film is inserted from the side of the selected set for exposure.

  • Patent number: 5657112
Abstract: A photographic exposure apparatus has a light path for directing an optical pattern of a display image from an image display to a photosensitive material and a light path for directing an optical pattern of a negative image from a negative film of the photosensitive material. The two light paths are selectively switched from one to the other to project each of the display and negative images onto the photosensitive material at a common exposure station. A mirror is disposed turnably to be movable across and between the two light paths. A mirror drive turns the mirror through a predetermined angle to switch between the light path for projecting the display image and the light path for projecting the negative image.

  • Patent number: 5600498
Abstract: A photographic printing apparatus includes an exposure station disposed in a midway region of a transfer path between a transfer inlet and a transfer outlet along which a negative film having magnetic recording tracks provided thereon is transferred forwardly and backwardly. A magnetic read head disposed between the transfer inlet and the exposure station, the magnetic read head being spaced from a center line of the exposure station by a distance which is equal to a sum of an integer multiple of the pitch length of one frame on the negative film and a half of the same.

  • Patent number: 5553809
Abstract: A paper magazine is capable of feeding and rewinding a web of paper automatically without forming any indentation in or causing meandering of the web of paper. A pair of press rollers and a paper detection roller are provided along a feed path extending from the core of a paper roll in a paper magazine case to a paper outlet. A cam plate and an engaging roller control the movement of the press rollers toward and away from each other according to the position of the paper detection roller. The transmission of driving force to the core of the paper roll and the press rollers is changed over according to the position of the paper detection roller. The press rollers are pressed against the paper only when feeding and rewinding the paper.

  • Patent number: 5402206
Abstract: A film feed device for feeding films connected to a leader to a negative carrier one after another. A guide block is provided at a film inlet side of the negative carrier provided along the exposure axis. Film feed units having film passage thereon are provided on the guide block. A feed unit having a pair of pulleys and a timing belt is mounted under the guide block to move the guide block in a direction perpendicular to the feed direction of the films. Ahead of the guide block is provided a cutter device to cut the two films when the rear end of the leader reaches the cutter device. The film aligned with the film inlet of the negative carrier is supplied thereto and printed. Then, by moving the guide block until the other film is aligned with the film inlet of the negative carrier, the other film can be printed.
