  • Patent number: 11946906
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a damaged region determination system of the embodiment includes a plurality of sensors, a position locator, and a determiner. The plurality of sensors detects elastic waves generated in a target object related to a railway which is a determination target of a damaged region. The position locator locates positions of sources of a plurality of elastic waves based on the plurality of elastic waves detected by each of the plurality of sensors. The determiner determines the damaged region in the target object based on the positions of the sources of the plurality of elastic waves.

  • Publication number: 20090165212
Abstract: An objective of the invention is to provide an integral air mattress capable of preventing caving-in. To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides an air mattress consisting of three sheets 1 to 3 stacked and airtightly sealed at their circumferential portions, the mattress comprising: first-layer air cells 6a and 6b consisting of tubular air cells formed widthwise by the first and second sheets 1 and 2; and second-layer air cells 8 consisting of tubular air cells formed widthwise by the second and third sheets 2 and 3, wherein the first-layer air cells 6a and 6b and the second-layer air cells 8 are arranged so as not to overlap in the longitudinal direction. The overlying first-layer air cells 6a and 6b are set at low pressure so as not to cause bedsores easily, while the underlying second-layer air cells 8 are set at high pressure so as not to cause caving-in easily.

  • Patent number: 6087774
Abstract: A non-electrode discharge lamp apparatus comprises a discharge tube, exciting coils wound on an outer periphery of the discharge tube, a vessel, having liquid-tightness, containing the discharge tube and the exciting coil means, and lead line guiding means for guiding lead lines connected to the exciting coils to the outside of the vessel, thereby supplying high frequency electric power to the exciting coils through the lead lines. Liquid is prevented from directly contacting the discharge tube and the exciting coils, temperature of the discharge tube can be suitably maintained, and an irradiation efficiency of ultraviolet rays can be prevented from being reduced.
