  • Patent number: 9755325
Abstract: A conductor wire crimping portion (7) has depressions (13a, 13b, 13c) that are disposed at prescribed intervals in the axial direction and that are linear locking portions. The depressions (13a, 13b, 13c) are continuously depressed grooves on the inner surface of a crimping portion (5). On an upper die (30a), at a portion corresponding to the conductor wire crimping portion (7), a straight portion is formed, and in the front-back direction thereof, tapered portions are formed. More specifically, the upper die (30a) is formed to have an inverted trapezoid shape, a middle portion of which protrudes in the crimping direction. Consequently, at each boundary between the straight portion and the tapered portion, a die angled portion (32) is formed. At an area corresponding to the straight portion of the upper die (30a), the depression (13a) is provided, and at an area corresponding to the die angled section (32), the depression (13b) is provided.

  • Patent number: 9240635
Abstract: In a female crimp terminal having a pressure-bonding section which allows pressure-bonding and connection of a conductor tip in an insulated wire obtained by coating a conductor with an insulating cover and having the conductor tip in which the conductor is exposed by peeling off the insulating cover in a tip side, the pressure-bonding section is constructed by arranging a conductor pressure-bonding section and a cover pressure-bonding section from a tip side to a base end side in a long length direction in this order, the conductor pressure-bonding section pressure-bonding the conductor tip, and the cover pressure-bonding section pressure-bonding a conductor tip portion in the tip side of the insulating cover, the cover pressure-bonding section is formed into a hollow shape which can surround the conductor tip portion, and the conductor pressure-bonding section is formed to have a smaller diameter than the cover pressure-bonding section, and is formed into a hollow shape which can surround the conductor tip.

  • Publication number: 20150072573
Abstract: A crimp terminal (10) comprises a box part (20) and a cable connector (30). The box part (20) is connected to another terminal. The cable connector (30) is coupled with the box terminal (20) and connected with a covered cable (50). Also, the cable connector (30) includes a hollow formed by welding a metal plate, in which a pressing part for conduction (33b) and a compression part for waterproofing (33a) are formed. The pressing part for conduction (33b) presses a conduction part (51) of the covered cable (50) to ensure conduction with the covered cable. The compression for waterproofing (33a) presses and compresses a covered part (52) of the covered cable (50) inwardly to prevent water from entering inside.

  • Patent number: 3984898
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing multilayer fibrous mats is provided which can form alternate short and long fiber layers continuously on a single forming endless wire cloth. The layers are brought together under the influence of suction air and are held together by interfiber bonds at their interfaces. The apparatus is composed of long fiber defibrators and a short fiber disperser unit placed above the forming endless wire cloth. First, a thin web of long fibers is formed on the forming wire cloth and then a short fiber mat is formed on top of the said long fiber web. At this point, the short fibers to a certain extent are pulled into and among the long fibers of the thin long fiber web by the use of suction air thus forming a long fiber layer, long-short fiber interface layer and a short fiber layer mat construction.
