  • Patent number: 9336424
Abstract: There is provided a barcode reader that decode of a barcode is possible with easy processes even in a case where reflectivity around the barcode is higher than reflectivity at bright portions of the barcode. The barcode reader comprises: an edge deleter configured to delete the position information and polarity information on an unnecessary edge which arises due to a difference between a strength of a reflected light from a quiet zone of the barcode and a strength of a reflected light from an adjacent portion of the quiet zone, wherein, on detecting two successive edges which have the same polarity, the edge deleter determines an edge which is closer to an end portion of a scan as the unnecessary edge and deletes the position information and polarity information on the unnecessary edge.

  • Patent number: 9235745
Abstract: There is provided a signal processing device for remedying an error in reading bar-codes derived from a defect of the bar-code printed on a label, a way to hold the bar-code reader's sensor to the bar-code and so forth. The signal processing device comprises: a variable amplifier configured to output a signal, as an output signal thereof, corresponding to an input signal, an offset and a gain of the variable amplifier being able to be adjusted; a comparing means configured to compare a level of the output signal of the variable amplifier with a plurality of thresholds; a detecting means configured to detect either or both of a shift of the offset of the variable amplifier and an excess or deficiency of the gain of the variable amplifier based on the result of the comparison executed in the comparing means; and an adjusting means configured to adjust either or both of the offset and the gain of the variable amplifier based on the result of the detection executed in the detecting means.

  • Publication number: 20070289508
Abstract: A heat-treatment apparatus having a combustion chamber (13), an apparatus main body (10) provided with said combustion chamber (13), a combustion burner (20) for supplying a heating gas to said combustion chamber (13), a flue for discharging a combustion gas generated in said combustion chamber (13) to the outside, and a heating vessel stored in said combustion chamber (13), said heating vessel (15) having a bottom and an opening on the top, said opening being opened and closed by a lid (16), and said heating vessel being provided with a communicating member (153) that is communicably open to the above said combustion chamber when said lid is closed. This heat-treatment apparatus can keep the emission gas generated during the treatment, and, waste valuable metals can be efficiently recovered, if contained.
