  • Publication number: 20140055783
Abstract: A method of analyzing a nitride semiconductor layer in which a mixing ratio at a ternary mixed-crystal nitride semiconductor layer can be analyzed non-destructively, simply, and precisely, even its surface is covered with a cap layer is provided. The nitride semiconductor layer having an AN layer or a BN layer with a thickness of 0.5 to 10 nm that is stacked on an AxB1-xN layer (A and B: 13 group elements, 0?x?1) is subjected to reflection spectroscopy to obtain a reflection spectrum of the AxB1-xN layer. Let an energy value in a peak position of the reflection spectrum be a band gap energy Egap, and let a band gap energy value of AxB1-xN (x=1) be EA and a band gap energy value of AxB1-xN (x=0) be EB, x is calculated from Equation Egap=(1?x)EB+xEA?bx(1?x) (where b is bowing parameter corresponding to A and B).

  • Publication number: 20110273819
Abstract: An electronic device includes a frame having a frame member with a frame connector. The frame defines a component cavity. The electronic device also includes a user interface coupled to the frame that is visible external of the frame, with the user interlace displaying data to an operator. A user input is coupled to the frame member and includes a terminal electrically coupled to the frame connector. A circuit board is received in the component cavity and is operably coupled to the user interface. The circuit board is electrically connected to the frame connector at a separable interface. The user input can pick up a signal from anywhere on the electronic device based on an action of touching, handling or placing and process that signal to cause a predetermined effect. The signal from the user input is transferred to the user interface via the frame connector and the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 8009547
Abstract: An optical disk includes a first area on which user information is recorded, and a second area in which a plurality of marks radially extending are arranged in a track direction in the optical disk. Information about the reflectance of the optical disk is recorded in the second area. It is intended to optimize the amplification factor of the reproduced signal on the basis of the information about the reflectance of the optical disk in the second area. Control data and user data can be reproduced quickly and highly reliably without depending on the relationship between the reflectances of a recording area and a non-recorded area of the optical disk.

  • Publication number: 20080227005
Abstract: A pattern forming device has a transfer unit which transfers a pattern image formed on a planographic plate held by a printing frame onto the surface of a glass plate held on an XY stage. After the glass plate and the planographic plate have been positioned by the XY stage, the transfer unit moves a stroke roller disposed on the rear surface side of the planographic plate in an arrow direction so that the stroke roller may be pressed against the planographic plate, thereby transferring the pattern image onto the glass plate by an electric field while, at the same time, stroking solvent components interposed between the planographic plate and the glass plate.

  • Patent number: 7291021
Abstract: An integrated circuit socket comprises an insulative housing having an integrated circuit package receiving recess provided with a plurality of contact receiving openings arranged in a matrix. Contacts are arranged in the contact receiving openings. Each of the contacts has a base fixed to the contact receiving opening and a contact arm that extends away from the base. The contact arm has a contact portion with a contact point at an uppermost end. The contact portion overlaps with the contact arm of an adjacent one of the contacts. First partition walls separate the contact receiving openings in a direction substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the contact arms extend. The uppermost ends are arranged below tops of the first partition walls.

  • Patent number: 7226294
Abstract: The electrical connector of the present invention has an insulative housing having a first face across from a first electrical circuit and a second face across from a second electrical circuit. A plurality of contacts are mounted in the insulative housing, each of which contacts a contact point of the first electrical circuit at the first face, and contacts a contact point of the second electrical circuit at the second face, thereby interconnecting the first and second circuits. Each of the contacts has one portion of the contact supported by the insulative housing so as to be capable of pivoting in response to the displacement of the first contact portion and the second contact portion.
