Publication number: 20050221079Abstract: Hybrid films, such as those having good abrasion-resistance and defogging properties, antireflection films including it, optical products, and methods for restoring the defogging property of the hybrid films are disclosed. The hybrid films having a defogging property may be obtained through vapor deposition of an organic compound having a hydrophilic group and a reactive group along with silicon dioxide or with silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide. The antireflection film may be formed on a substrate having the hybrid film as the outermost layer opposite to the substrate. The optical product may comprise a plastic substrate and the antireflection film having the hybrid film. A method for restoring the defogging property of the hybrid film of the optical product may include washing the hybrid film.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2004Publication date: October 6, 2005Inventors: Hiroshi Shirakawa, Takeshi Mitsuishi, Kenichi Shinde

Patent number: 6848972Abstract: A surface micromachining process for a resin mold including a layer of a resin as a material of the resin mold, which layer has a product's surface forming plane, and a back surface reinforcing member for reinforcing the resin layer. The product's surface forming plane is micromachined by means of at least two masking/blasting treatments. The treatments comprise a primary blasting step of sticking a first mask sheet having a specific window on the product's surface forming plane and blasting blast particles to the product's surface forming plane via the first mask sheet, and a secondary blasting step of peeling the first mask sheet, sticking a second mask sheet different from the first mask sheet on the product's surface forming plane, and blasting blast particles to the product's surface forming plane via the second mask sheet.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2002Date of Patent: February 1, 2005Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hiroshi Shirakawa, Kenji Hosoya

Patent number: 6764630Abstract: A resin (61) as a material of a resin mold is injected in a second resin filling space (57) from a resin injection hole (51) provided in a second back surface reinforcing member (50). When the resin overflows from a resin overflow hole (52), the injection of the resin is stopped, followed by curing of the resin. During the operation of the resin filling step, since a downward load equivalent to a total of a weight of the resin injected in the second resin filling space and the injection pressure is applied to the master model (30), there is a possibility that the master model be deflected downwardly; however, in actual, since the back surface of the master model is overall supported by the temporary filler (59), the master model is not deflected downwardly.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2002Date of Patent: July 20, 2004Assignees: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha, Forma Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Shirakawa, Isao Nishigaki, Masami Kunii

Patent number: 6300934Abstract: Described are methods and apparatuses for selecting Hangul components to form Korean characters on a screen located on electronic devices. All Hangul components are divided into three groups; namely, an initial consonant group, a medial vowel group, and a final consonant group. Any Hangul components can be found in these three groups. These three group Hangul components are alternatively displayed on a component display region (1006) located on the screen. At the beginning of inputting a Korean character, the first display region displays the initial consonant group in the component display region (1006). To form a Korean character, a user selects an initial consonant from the initial consonant group. Upon the selection of the initial consonant, the component display region (1006) displays the medial vowel group. The user then selects a medial vowel from the medial vowel group. Upon the selection of the medial vowel, the component display region (1006) displays the final consonant group.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 1998Date of Patent: October 9, 2001Assignees: Sony Corporation, Sony Electronics Inc.Inventors: Soon Ko, Hiroshi Shirakawa
