  • Patent number: 5873308
Abstract: A black sheet is interposed between a manuscript and a porous resin and the manuscript face is irradiated by a linear light source moving along the manuscript face under a laminated state. By this process, the total face of the manuscript is irradiated, and a stamp face is formed by heat generation of the black sheet in accordance with a stamp pattern of the manuscript.

  • Patent number: 5816160
Abstract: In order to prevent a stamp plate or a stencil plate from falling off or shifting on. a stamp unit, and to simplify operations for exchanging the stamp plate (stencil plate) during stamping operations or stencil-producing operations, a support body is formed with rail portions. The rail portions are C-shaped in cross section. Holding pawl portions are formed along lengthwise edges of the rail portions. The stamp plate is held in a recess of a backside reinforcement. When the stamp plate held in this manner is inserted in a space between the pair of rail portions, the holding pawl portions hold the lengthwise edge surfaces of a stamp surface of the stamp plate, and also the rail portions support the backside reinforcement so the stamp plate will not fall off.

C. and has a thixotropy index T.I. in a range from 1.2 to 3.0 under temperature of 25.degree. C. where the thixotropy index T.I. is defined in the expression of: T.I.=(Viscosity at a shear rate of 0.5/sec)/(Viscosity at a shear rate of 5.O/sec).

  • Patent number: 5694844
Abstract: A stencil stamp assembly having a comparatively small size, high ink holding capacity, excellent stamping durability and is capable of stamping images having a high print quality. The stencil stamp includes a handgrip and a stencil stamp assembly. The stencil stamp assembly includes an ink bearing member covered with a thermal stencil sheet. The thermal stencil sheet has a plurality of pores on holes arranged in a pattern. During a stamping action, ink from the ink bearing member is forced through the pores in the stencil sheet and onto a recording sheet to form a stamped image on the recording sheet. The ink bearing member has at least two layers having different densities. The less dense layer is in contact with the thermal stencil sheet. The least dense layer provides a large ink storage capacity. The more dense layer has a higher ink holding capacity, which reduces the potential for ink leakage.

  • Patent number: 5658692
Abstract: Disclosed is a carbon negative electrode material containing microparticles of hard carbon. The pores in the carbon microparticles have an inlet diameter such that an organic solvent in an electrolyte of a lithium secondary cell is substantially impermeable and that lithium ions are permeable. Use of such carbon negative electrode material as a negative electrode enables to provide a lithium secondary cell with excellent cell capacity, in which charge capacity and discharge capacity are improved and irreversible capacity is minimized.

  • Patent number: 5126783
Abstract: An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a photosensitive recording medium by exposing the photosensitive recording medium to light by way of a mask member which is placed on an exposure station. The apparatus comprises a first transport device which transports the mask member through the exposure station and a second transport device which transports the photosensitive recording medium through the exposure station. A first exposure unit irradiates light upon the photosensitive record medium by way of said mask member at the exposure station to record an image formed on the mask member on the photosensitive recording medium. Alternatively, when a mask member is not used, a second exposure unit directs light through an auxiliary member having a light-passing image thereon to project and record the light-passing image onto the photosensitive recording medium.

  • Patent number: 5126781
Abstract: An image recording apparatus having an exposure unit, a pressure developing unit and a thermal fixing unit. The apparatus employs a separate type image recording mediums including a microcapsule sheet and a separate developer sheet. The thermal fixing unit applies heat to the developer sheet carrying an output image thereon. A heat application means of the thermal fixing unit is positioned spaced away from the imaging surface of the developer sheet for avoding direct contact therewith.

  • Patent number: 5079587
Abstract: An image recording apparatus using a set of mask members and having mask position adjusting device. A transparent mask member supporting plate is provided at the exposure position. Each of the mask member is delivered upon the mask member supporting plate by two pairs of rollers. In this mask delivery, a mask image surface faces upwardly. An elongated photosensitive recording medium is positioned immediately above the mask member supporting plate so as to guide the medium at the exposure position. Further, an exposure device including a light source and color filters is positioned below the mask member supporting plate. The mask member undergoes positional adjustment at the exposure position. For this, the mask member supporting plate is supported on a positioning frame which is movable in a direction perpendicular to the mask member moving direction.

  • Patent number: 5068686
Abstract: A color image recording apparatus records a color image on a photosensitive recording medium by repeating exposure against the photosensitive recording medium successively through mask members for red (R), green (G) and blue (B) images. The apparatus includes a memory having two (or more) conversion tables (I) and (II) for exposure conditions to be set on a panel surface by an operator. The conversion table (I) indicates exposure scanning speed corresponding to the exposure conditions to be set on the panel surface, and the conversion table (II) indicates one or plural stages of different scanning speeds correlative with each of the scanning speeds indicated by the conversion table (I). In deciding the exposure conditions by trial printing, a trial print mode is set, and keys are operated to carry out exposure per image area in plural stages of scanning speeds defined in the conversion tables (I) and (II).

  • Patent number: 5049918
Abstract: An image recording apparatus for recording an image orresponding to an image corresponding to an original image on a photosensitive recording medium. This apparatus uses at least one mask member having a surface on which a light shielding image corresponding to the original image. In order to reproduce a clear image, various factors which may cause to change the amount of exposure are compensated for. Such factors includes the thickness of the paper of the mask member, the paper quality of the mask member, the condition of a laser printer which prints the light shielding image on the mask member.
