  • Publication number: 20160358531
Abstract: A display apparatus includes: display pixels arranged in rows and columns, each display pixel being disposed at the intersection of one of gate signal lines arranged in rows and one of source signal lines arranged in columns; a gate driver IC capable of selecting the gate signal lines based on a designated order; a source driver IC that outputs a voltage signal to the source signal lines; and a TCON. The display pixels each include an organic EL element, a capacitor into which the voltage signal is written, a capacitor capable of receiving an electric charge in the capacitor, and a driving transistor that supplies a driving current corresponding to the magnitude of the electric charge in the capacitor to the organic EL element. • Publication number: 20160343305
Abstract: A plurality of display pixels each include: an organic EL element; a capacitance element that holds a first voltage used to cause the organic EL element to emit light; a drive transistor that supplies a current corresponding to the first voltage to the organic EL element; and a capacitance element that holds a second voltage that is a next voltage to be held in the capacitance element. A power line is connected to a drain electrode of the drive transistor or a cathode of the organic EL element. An adjustment unit adjusts the voltage applied to the power line to be lower than the predetermined voltage, when a total current of the plurality of display pixels in the case where a current corresponding to the second voltage is supplied to the organic EL element in each of the plurality of display pixels is greater than or equal to a threshold.

  • Patent number: 9138753
Abstract: A spray nozzle for providing a high efficient atomization and a uniform fluid flow pattern, includes an internal fluid channel, sealing and a spray nozzle, on which two of spray orifices are designed close to each other. The fluid flow is guided in the internal fluid channel smoothly and separated to two fluid flows inside of spray nozzle. These two fluid flows are pressed out from the spray orifices and interfered with each other right after flow out from the spray orifices. The fluid is being atomized efficiently because the spray nozzle is designed to fully utilize both flow velocity energy and flow pressure potential energy, which is well known as “Potential Core” or “Potential Zone” and will disappear in a very short distance right after fluids flow out from the spray orifices. During the fluid flows collide with each other by using the flow velocity right after flow out from the orifices, the fluid flows explode within the potential core by using the flow pressure potential energy.

  • Publication number: 20140333609
Abstract: An EL display apparatus according to the present invention includes EL device adapted to emit light at a luminance corresponding to a current fed thereto. A source driver outputs a current higher than a current corresponding to an image signal to the EL device through a source signal line. This operation charges/discharges a parasitic capacitance present in the source signal line. A transistor formed between the EL device and the source driver operates so that the EL device is fed with the current for only a part of a one-frame period. As a result, the El device emits light for only the part of the period.

  • Patent number: 8063855
Abstract: A switching transistor is controlled to turn on or off depending on a turn-on voltage or a turn-off voltage applied to a gate signal line. A driver transistor is supplied with an image signal applied to a source signal line through a switching transistor. A voltage based on the supplied image signal is retained by a capacitor. The driver transistor supplies a light-emitting current to an EL element based on the voltage retained in the capacitor. A capacitor is formed between one terminal of the capacitor (that is, a gate terminal of the driver transistor) and a gate signal line. The capacitor causes the gate terminal voltage of the driver transistor to be varied depending on variation of the potential on the gate signal line.

  • Patent number: 8022899
Abstract: A precharge voltage Vp is applied in period A. The precharge voltage Vp is generated by applying a constant current Iw to a pixel driving transistor of a display panel and using gate terminal voltage of the driving transistor which passes the constant current Iw. The gate terminal potential is held in memory. When displaying images on a display panel, the gate terminal potential is read out of memory, and used as the precharge voltage Vp after arithmetic processing. By the application of the precharge voltage Vp, a source signal line is charged and discharged quickly so that an almost target tone current will flow through the driving transistor. Furthermore, a more accurate program current is written into the pixel during period B.
