  • Publication number: 20060125747
Abstract: An automatic synchronization judging circuit to be used in a liquid crystal display device is provided which is capable of realizing, by a small-scale circuit, a function of correctly judging a synchronizing signal to serve as a reference signal for displaying operations in any case of combinations of synchronizing signals to be input. The automatic synchronization judging circuit includes a counter and a judging device. The counter, when having counted a DE (Data Enable) signal up to a predetermined number being 1 or more, makes a signal output from the counter go high and stops the counting. The judging device generates a judging signal. If the judging signal is high, the driving mode is judged as a “fixed mode” which uses a vertical synchronizing signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal as the reference signal. If the judging signal is low, the driving mode is judged as a “DE mode” which uses the DE (Data Enable) signal as the reference signal.

  • Publication number: 20040262321
Abstract: To solve the limit of wall-thickness adjustment of a preform for a small flat container by a flat core by forming the outer side of a step-up-formed large-wall-thickness shell part with reducing wall thickness. A preform 1 for a small flat container whose inside diameter is completely circular and restricted to a small value is used. A shell part 12 is step-out-formed from the boundary between a neck part 11 and a shell part 12 so that the shell part 12 has a diameter larger than the neck part 11. A difference is provided between wall thickness of forward/backward sides 12a and right/left sides 12b of the shell part 12 by forming the outer side of the shell part into an ellipse form or the like from the underside of step-out at with reducing wall thickness. A stepped out part 14 is left like a disk in the underside of the neck part.

  • Patent number: 6823971
Abstract: There is provided a simplified loading device in which a permanent magnet is arranged between a moving element and a fixed element for holding the moving element, a magnetic fluid is disposed in a gap developed at some midpoint in a magnetic circuit in which the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet passes through the moving element, and a shearing force of the magnetic fluid produced by the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is exerted on the moving element as a loading force. Thereby, a higher loading force can be generated and the device can be made smaller in size than in the case of the conventional friction or hysteresis brake.

  • Publication number: 20040212577
Abstract: In a liquid crystal display apparatus, a set of write-in voltages are generated corresponding to a horizontal line signal of an input video frame so that they appear at end points of the column lines of a LCD panel. The row lines of the LCD panel are successively selected and the write-in voltages are supplied from the end points of the column lines to the liquid crystal cells of the selected row line for a variable write-in period. In order to compensate for shades-of-gray differences between the top and bottom of the LCD panel, the write-in period is increasingly varied as a function of the geometric distance from the selected row line to the end points of the column lines. The write-in period may be increasingly variable from a nominal value, or from a less-than-nominal value to the nominal value, or a combination of both.

  • Publication number: 20040156278
Abstract: In the tilt correction method, information about inclination of an object lens relative to an information recording medium is acquired. A direct current signal Sdc for correcting the inclination is produced based on the information. An alternating current signal Sac having a prescribed signal characteristic is superposed onto the direct current signal Sdc to produce a driving signal Sout.
