    Abstract: A manufacturing method of a cover by bending a non-magnetic metal sheet, the cover being provided between an annular magnet fixed to a rotary member and a magnetic sensor detecting magnetism generated from the annular magnet, and a press die having a first die and a second die configured to be able to approach to and depart from each other. The method includes a bending step of bending the metal sheet by using a forming machine of which contact portion with the metal sheet is a non-magnetized portion. The press die presses and bends a non-magnetic metal sheet, and the first die and the second die include non-magnetic portions on a part of press faces configured to press the metal sheet, respectively, the non-magnetic portions facing each other.

    Abstract: A sealing cap made of metal adapted to be fitted into an end opening of a cylindrical mechanical member for closing an inner cylindrical portion of the mechanical member.     Abstract: An encoder-equipped seal mounted on a wheel bearing unit on an automotive vehicle includes an elastic element and a reinforcing ring for sealing said wheel bearing unit and for detecting the number of revolutions of the wheel. The encoder-equipped seal further includes a first ring element and a second ring element, wherein the first ring element includes a first reinforcing ring, a first flanged portion and a magnetic attached to the first flanged portion of the first reinforcing ring, and wherein the second ring element includes a second reinforcing ring having a second flanged portion, and a seal lip arranged radially on the circumferential edge of the second flanged portion of the second reinforcing ring. The first ring element and the second ring element are united into one unit by allowing one to engage the other in such a manner that the first ring element is located axially outwardly of the wheel bearing unit and the second ring element is located axially inwardly of the wheel bearing unit.

    Abstract: A combination seal composed of a separately mounted first annular case and second annular case with an annular seal member provided with protruding lips. With this seal, there is no backward bending of the radial lip, seal design is facilitated, and the seal can be miniaturized.
