    Abstract: The present invention provides a biaxially twisted structure having curved developable surfaces which can be represented by a simple net. The net is in a two-dimensional shape of two congruent rotationally symmetric convex polygons misalignedly connected along a shared edge. A three-dimensional shape of the structure can be reconstructed from the net by sequentially connecting its edges. The structure has a unique design and mechanical feature, which can be utilized as a box, container, part, toy, building and so on.

Each tab expands bilaterally and proximally from the body at its base, and each gap is positioned along the edge so as to accept the base of the tab. The joint formations along the edges of varied curvatures are alignedly, hingedly, and detachably interlocked with each other by twisting the panels with fingers to individually hook the tab at the gap. The panels are assembled into geometric structures having flat or curved faces.

Preferably, the controller includes a unit that measures a length of a paper path extended between the printing mechanisms and enters a setup value to perform error recovery printing, an image buffer that stores an amount of data equivalent to a distance between an image transfer point and a fixing point, a pointer function that indicates locations of image data and of data in the image buffer, and a function that employs the pointer function to calculate a range and performs error recovery printing, when a malfunction has occurred and a paper is re-loaded.

    Abstract: This invention relates to an anti-theft device for an engine-driven vehicle having a control unit for controlling either of the supply of fuel to an engine and the ignition timing of this fuel, and a back-up mechanism acting for the control unit when the control unit is damaged. It is determined whether or not the control unit has functioned appropriately when the engine is started up, and if it is determined that it has not, the function of the back-up mechanism is prohibited. Hence, the engine will not start and theft of the vehicle is prevented even if, for example, the control unit is deliberately damaged and an attempt is made to start the engine. However, the back-up mechanism does function if the control unit develops a fault while the vehicle is running, and the vehicle therefore continues to run.
