    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a means for improving the affinity of an in vivo embedded material such as an artificial blood vessel or an artificial dura mater with a tissue adhesive, so as to quickly prevent the leakage of the blood or spinal fluid. The present invention provides a polymeric material used in combination with a tissue adhesive, which comprises carbon or silicon as a constitutional element, and at least a portion of the surface of which is modified by ion bombardment.
