    Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing AlN whiskers includes reduced incorporation of metal particles, an AlN whisker body, AlN whiskers, a resin molded body, and a method for producing the resin molded body. The method for producing AlN whiskers includes heating an Al-containing material in a material accommodation unit to thereby generate Al gas; and introducing the Al gas into a reaction chamber through a communication portion while introducing nitrogen gas into the reaction chamber through a gas inlet port, to thereby grow AlN whiskers on the surface of an Al2O3 substrate placed in the reaction chamber.

    Abstract: A power device for a window regulator is disclosed. The window regulator is of a type which regulates a window pane by moving pull-up and pull-down drive cables connected to the window pane. The power device comprises a motor-powered driving part which includes an output shaft which has a regular polygonal cross section; and a cable winder part including a drum about which the pull-up and pull-down drive cables are wound, the drum having a coupling bore to which the output shaft is engaged, the coupling bore having a regular polygonal star-like cross section with equally spaced angular recesses. The number of the equally spaced angular recesses of the coupling bore is integral times as many as that of the angles of the polygonally cross-sectioned output shaft.

    Abstract: A roller unit of a window regulator is movably engaged with a guide rail of a U-shaped cross section. The guide rail has a pair of parallel side walls one of which is formed with a longitudinal groove of a V-shaped cross section and the other is formed to be planar. The roller unit includes a pair of convexly surfaced rollers in rolling contact with the grooved side wall and a flat surfaced roller in rolling contact with the planar side wall. The flat surfaced roller is movable toward and away from the planar side wall and urged against the same by a spring.
