  • Patent number: 9180995
Abstract: A retort cup includes a tubular barrel portion formed of a barrel portion forming blank having a paper layer and thermoplastic resin layers; and a bottom portion which seals one of the openings of the barrel portion. The bottom portion has a downwardly bent peripheral edge portion. The barrel portion has an attached barrel overlap portion where both end edges of the blank are overlapped with each other and sealed, a lower fold-back portion which is formed at a lower end of the barrel portion by folding back the blank inwardly, and an upper fold-back portion which is formed by folding back the ends of the fold-back blank inwardly. The lower end of the barrel portion, the upper fold-back portion, and the peripheral edge portion of the bottom portion are sealed together. The peripheral edge portion is inserted into the lower fold-back portion.

Abstract: A retort cup including a tubular barrel portion formed of a barrel portion forming blank having a paper layer and thermoplastic resin layers provided on both surfaces of the paper layer. A bottom portion seals one of the openings of the barrel portion and has a downwardly bent peripheral edge portion. The barrel portion has an attached barrel overlap portion where both end edges of the barrel portion forming blank are overlapped with each other and sealed, a lower fold-back portion is formed at a lower end of the barrel portion and an upper fold-back portion is formed by folding back the ends of the fold-back barrel portion forming blank inwardly. The lower end of the barrel portion, the upper fold-back portion, and the peripheral edge portion of the bottom portion are closely sealed together. The peripheral edge portion is inserted into the lower fold-back portion.

  • Patent number: 8012560
Abstract: An optical disc (10) includes a substrate (11), which is formed from either a resin-impregnated paper produced by impregnating a paper with a resin, or a resin-coated paper produced by coating a surface of a paper with a resin, and a recording layer (13), wherein the resin contains at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polycarbonates, bisphenol A epoxy resins, copolymers of methyl methacrylate and styrene, and copolymers of acrylonitrile and styrene. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing an optical disc (20) includes: providing a recording layer sheet by forming tracks on a recording base material; and bonding the recording layer sheet to a resin-impregnated paper or a resin-coated paper, thereby providing a recording layer (13) formed from the recording layer sheet on the substrate (11).

  • Patent number: 5658627
Abstract: Stretched blow molding articles are prepared by using an aliphatic polyester composition having a melting point of at least 70.degree. C. including: 97.5 to 75 parts by weight of an aliphatic polyester copolymer (A) having a Mn of at least 50,000 which is obtained by reacting 100 parts by weight of a polyester diol (a) with 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of diisocyanate, wherein the polyester diol (a) is obtained by conducting a polycondensation of 1 mol of an acid component consisting of 70 to 90 mol % of succinic acid and 10 to 30 mol % of adipic acid, with 1 to 1.1 mol of glycol; and 2.5 to 25 parts by weight of potybutylene succinate (B) with a linear structure, (C) with a branched long chain structure, or (D) with a branched longer chain structure, which have an Mn of at least 50,000 and are composed from some of succinic acid, 1,4-butanediol, polyfunctional comonomer and di- or poly-functional coupling agents.

  • Patent number: 5280631
Abstract: A polarization diversity radio communication system suitable for radio communication in indoor space is provided for transmitting from a transmitter a series of data sequentially from one of two or more transmission antennas of the transmitter, and for reproducing the data received at a receiver through a single reception antenna of the receiver when the series data are received from the transmitter. Thus, the transmitted data from any part of the indoor space can be received efficiently, and a high S/N ratio can be assured on the reception side.
