Patent number: 11935338Abstract: Generally, the current threshold value is set as a fixed value. Therefore, even in a case where an abnormality occurs in the load and the resistance value is small, when the power supply voltage applied to the load is low, the current value is also low, and falls below the threshold value, and there is a possibility that the overcurrent is not detected. In the present invention, by providing a second detection means that detects a load abnormality by calculating the resistance value of the load from information of the power supply voltage applied to the load, in addition to a first detection means that detects an overcurrent state that indicates the load abnormality using only current value information, it is possible to detect an overcurrent indicating an abnormality of the load even when the power supply voltage applied to the load is low.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2019Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Hitachi Astemo, Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Kanno, Hiroshi Usami, Masataka Ota

Patent number: 6879845Abstract: In a time-division multiplexing wireless communication system, an antenna module has plural antenna elements. Receiver high-frequency circuit synthesizes signals from the antenna elements according to an antenna directivity having a desired beam pattern. Demodulator selects one of the received signals from wireless terminals according to the synthesized received signals, and determines transmission beam direction information for use in directing the beam in the selected direction. Weighting circuit generates weight coefficients for setting of the beam patterns and transmission beam directions according to the transmission beam direction information, and produces transmission time slots according to a table listing the relations of the transmission beam directions and the time slots for use in the beam radiation in those directions.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2001Date of Patent: April 12, 2005Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Toshiro Suzuki, Ken Takei, Satoshi Takahashi, Hiroshi Usami, Yuuji Ishida

Patent number: 6442146Abstract: The present invention is directed to a TDMA communication system which is adapted to different communication environments or prepares different communication environments and allows each mobile station to be set for working in any one of the different communication environments. The communication system commonly uses a TDMA format that has a fixed frame-length and a constant number of bits for each of the slots composing the frame. The communication environments have prepared respective sets of communication conditions, each set including a transmission power, a modulating method, the number of multiplexed signals, error-correction, an antenna gain, a frequency hopping value and a diversity value. At each mobile station and each base station, one of plural sets of communication conditions for respective environments is selected to establish communication with each other under the selected environment.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 1998Date of Patent: August 27, 2002Assignees: Sharp Kabushiki Kaisha, Hitachi Ltd., Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki Kaisha, Communication Research Laboratory, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Nippon Telegraph And Telephone Corporation, NTT Mobile Communications Network, Inc., YRP Mobile Telecommunications Key Technology Research Laboratories Co. Patent number: 6157508Abstract: A magnetic recording/playback apparatus for recording information to a magnetic tape and playing back the information from the magnetic tape, includes first and second recording heads which are provided on a rotary cylinder and alternately record information to the magnetic tape. First and second playback heads are provided on the rotary cylinder at predetermined positions relative to the first and second recording heads, and alternately play back the information from the magnetic tape. A crosstalk canceling switch device cancels crosstalk at outputs of the first and second playback heads when the apparatus is run in a read-after-write mode, the crosstalk canceling switch device being set in a closed position during the read-and-write mode and interconnecting the output of the first playback head and the output of the second playback head.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 1999Date of Patent: December 5, 2000Assignee: TEAC CorporationInventor: Hiroshi Usami

Patent number: 5372545Abstract: A ventilator includes a ventilator fan and a sensor which detects a human body without contact. When a user performs the specific action, a comparator compares the action with a pattern stored in a memory. If the action matches the pattern, a controller controls the operation of the ventilator fan.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 1993Date of Patent: December 13, 1994Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Etsuji Noda, Hiroshi Usami, Yoshiki Hashimoto
