  • Publication number: 20120058679
Abstract: To well prevent a conductive contact from being peeled off with a simple structure, a rear end portion of the conductive contact to which a cable-shaped signal transmission medium is coupled is directly held by a contact engaging part. Even when an external force due to so-called flapping or the like is added from the cable-shaped signal transmission medium to the conductive contact, the conductive contact is well prevented from being peeled off. Also, a guide inclined surface for positioning the cable-shaped signal transmission medium is provided at the contact engaging part, and the cable-shaped signal transmission medium can be stably mounted along the guide inclined surface of the contact engaging part, thereby easily and accurately performing operations at the time of mounting, such as positioning.

  • Publication number: 20110273729
Abstract: A fluid ejection device includes first, second and third nozzle rows for forming first, second and third band images, respectively. The fluid ejection device forms an image in which an edge portion at one side in a prescribed direction in the first band image overlaps an edge portion at the other side in the second band image, and an edge portion at one side in the second band image overlaps an edge portion at the other side in the third band image. The fluid ejection device carries out a halftoning process whereby a center area of a dither mask equal in size to the input data for forming a band image but having a smaller dot generation rate in the edge areas than in the center area is associated with the input data for forming the edge portion to the other side of the first band image.

  • Publication number: 20110227277
Abstract: A sheet feeder has a tray on which a sheet to be fed is to be placed. A lift plate is at a feeding end of the tray and has a first end at an upstream side in a feeding direction connected rotatably to the tray. The lift plate is displaceable between a feeding posture where a second end at a downstream side in the feeding direction is lifted up and a retracted posture where the second end is lower than in the feeding posture due to its own weight. A biasing member gives a biasing force to an elevating member in a direction to lift the lift plate to the feeding posture. A lowering mechanism gives a pressing force against the force of the biasing member to lower the lift plate to the retracted posture.
