  • Patent number: 9854082
Abstract: An equipment control system includes a disaster notification apparatus configured to transmit a disaster notification, and a wireless communication apparatus provided in a building. The wireless communication apparatus receives the disaster notification, and determines whether a user of a portable terminal is present in the building, based on a communication situation between the wireless communication apparatus and one or more portable terminals. Upon receiving the disaster notification, the wireless communication apparatus controls one or more pieces of equipment installed within the building, differently depending on whether the user of the portable terminal is present in the building.

  • Patent number: 7861080
Abstract: A packet communication system for effectively using network resources and for improving network operability. A transmission security policy database specifies the omission of header information attached when a transmission packet is capsulated, as a transmission security policy. A header-information omitting section omits the header information of the capsulated transmission packet. A packet transmission processing section adds a security header and a header for tunnel communication to the packet from which the header information has been omitted and transmits the packet. A receiving security policy database specifies that the header information has been omitted, as a receiving security policy. A header-information recovering section searches the receiving security policy database for a security policy for a received packet, and when recognizing that the received packet is a target packet from which the header information has been omitted, recovers the header information.

  • Publication number: 20040105542
Abstract: In a system for performing encryption communications using a common key updated at a predetermined timing between a key transmitting device and a key receiving device, a common key encryption communication system comprising: a key transmitting device including first retaining unit for retaining a most-updated encryption key and a one-generation-anterior encryption key as the above common keys, and first setting unit for setting a one-generation-anterior encryption key for transmission and a most-updated encryption key and a one-generation-anterior encryption key for receipt, respectively; and the above key receiving device including second retaining unit for retaining a most-updated encryption key and a one-generation-anterior encryption key as the above common keys, and second setting unit for setting a most-updated encryption key for transmission, and a most-updated encryption key and a one-generation-anterior key for receipt, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20040037260
Abstract: A home agent (HA) is endowed with a gateway function having a security function of an enterprise network. A VPN is established beforehand between the home agent arranged in a communications carrier and a security gateway within the enterprise network, when a service contract is made between the communications carrier and the enterprise. As a result, co-located mode of a mobile node (MN) is used, and VPN information according to a security level of a network that accommodates the mobile node is distributed in a location registration procedure of a mobile IP, so that a VPN that effectively uses a tunnel set-up process of the mobile IP is configured.
