  • Publication number: 20070258601
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an audio signal processing apparatus for generating an audio signal capable of alleviating a user's sense of incongruity. The audio signal processing apparatus comprises an audio processing unit 2 and a control unit 3. The audio processing unit 2 is provided for processing an audio signal Sau outputted from a receiving unit Rx which receives a signal transmitted through a digital transmission route. The control unit 3 is provided for judging a reception state in accordance with a plurality of internal states Ddet of the receiving unit Rx, controlling signal processing contents to be executed by the audio processing unit 2 in accordance with a result of the judging. In this way, it is possible to generate from an audio signal Sau an audio signal Scmp capable of alleviating a user's sense of incongruity even if a reception state has become worse.

  • Patent number: 7227915
Abstract: A receiver receives a multiplex broadcasting wave of a terrestrial wave and a satellite wave and executes AGC. As for the terrestrial wave, only a frequency band of the terrestrial wave is extracted by a filter for the terrestrial wave, and the AGC on the terrestrial wave side is executed through an AGC loop for the terrestrial wave. As for the satellite wave, the frequency band including the terrestrial wave and the satellite wave is extracted by the filter for the satellite wave, and the AGC is executed based on the signal. As a result, the AGC on the satellite wave side is affected by a receiving condition variation of the terrestrial wave. By a frequency-analysis of the terrestrial wave signal, the receiving condition of the terrestrial wave is analyzed. According to the analyzed result, an AGC adjusting quantity on the satellite wave side is determined and the AGC on the satellite wave side is adjusted by the adjusting quantity.

  • Patent number: 5554966
Abstract: An audio apparatus having a detachable control panel or operating-part main unit includes a microcomputer for detecting an OFF state of an ACC position of the ignition key, or the attached/detached state of the operating-part main unit. When such states are detected, normal operations of the microcomputer; namely, the operations to turn on an SWD V.sub.DD terminal and an A/D port and to set a KEY DATA terminal into a standby mode, are stopped intermittently in order to execute a low consumption process in which electric power is consumed only for holding information in memory in the microcomputer. When the microcomputer detects the OFF state of the ignition key or the OFF state of an installation detection switch and, an alarm ON state is set in the memory in the microcomputer, then an alarm sound is generated from a speaker for a predetermined time.

  • Patent number: 5359230
Abstract: An on-vehicle electronic device includes a main body which is fastened to a vehicle and has a first terminal, and an operation unit which is detachably mounted in the main body and which has a second terminal electrically connected to the first terminal when the operation unit is mounted in the main body. The main body includes a reference power source applying a reference voltage to the first terminal, and a voltage detection unit for detecting a voltage applied to the first terminal. The main body further includes a mounting detection unit. The mounting detection unit determines, based on a difference between a first detection voltage detected by the voltage detection unit when the operation unit is mounted and a second detection voltage detected by the voltage detection unit when the operation unit is not mounted, whether or not the operation unit is mounted and electrically connected to the main body via the first and second terminals.
