  • Patent number: 9944183
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an HUD integrated cluster system for a vehicle camera. The HUD integrated cluster system displays captured images of the rear view of the vehicle on a cluster and an HUD in front of the driver's seat. Thereby, the gaze shift distance and time may be reduced in watching the environment behind the vehicle and a traffic accident resulting from distraction from the front view may be prevented. The HUD integrated cluster system also displays, on the cluster and the HUD in front of the driver's seat, an image of at least one of the views of the rear center, rear left side and rear right side of the vehicle according to the speed of the vehicle, gear shift, blinking of a turn signal, and a steering direction of the steering wheel. Thereby, the driver may easily observe the rear view according to respective situations.

  • Patent number: 8001944
Abstract: An engine start control system for a vehicle includes a first switch with which a user operates to start the engine, a second switch, a third switch, a brake switch and an engine start control unit for controlling start of the engine. The engine start control unit provides a normal mode that allows to start the engine when the first switch is operated if the brake switch detects operation of the brake pedal and a failsafe mode that allows to start the engine when at least two of the first, second and third switches are operated even if the brake switch does not detect operation of the brake pedal.

  • Patent number: 7612649
Abstract: A smart entry system for a vehicle includes a transmitter on a vehicle and a portable unit carried by a user. The transmitter transmits a request signal which defines a user detection area to detect whether the portable unit transmits a response signal to indicate the user. When the user enters the detection area while all the doors are locked, an unlock standby state is set. When the user touches a touch sensor of a driver-seat side door under the unlock standby state, only the driver-seat side door is first unlocked. The other doors are kept locked if the user opens the D-door by the time when T2 seconds elapse. On the other hand, all the doors are unlocked when T2 elapses while the driver-seat side door is not opened.

  • Patent number: 7388474
Abstract: When either a front-side sensor or a rear-side sensor of a subject vehicle detects an obstacle entering a certain distance range of multiple distance ranges within a detection zone close to the subject vehicle, a micro-computer causes a warning unit to warn with a buzzer in a primary warning pattern that is prepared for each distance range. In contrast, when both detect obstacles, the warning unit is caused to warn in the following patterns. In a first case that at least one of two sensors detects an obstacle entering a shortest distance range, the warning unit warns in a different warning pattern differentiated from the primary warning pattern. In a second case except the first case, the warning unit warns in the primary warning pattern corresponding to the distance range that is entered by the obstacle that is closer to the vehicle, of the obstacles detected by the two sensors.

  • Publication number: 20080103727
Abstract: There is provided an invention to implement a multichannel analyzer capable of executing high-precision measurement in short measurement time. The invention is an improvement of a multichannel analyzer for receiving pulse signals having respective peak values corresponding to radiation energy, and generating a histogram by selecting the respective peak values of the pulse signals on the basis of a lower limit value, and an upper limit value. The multichannel analyzer is characterized in comprising a conversion means for converting a voltage level of the pulse signal into a digital data block expressed in the same unit as that for the peak value at a predetermined sampling rate, a peak detector for detecting the peak value out of the digital data blocks of the conversion means, and a histogram analyzer for finding the number of occurrence times for each of the peak values, as selected after detection by the peak detector.

  • Patent number: 6483246
Abstract: Left and right turn lamps are used as lamps in a daytime travel of a vehicle. When a first daytime turn-on requirement is satisfied, i.e., when an ignition switch is ON, a left-hand contact of a turn switch is OFF, a right-hand contact thereof is off, and the like, a left front turn lamp and a right front turn lamp are turned on as the lamps in the daytime travel, based on signals outputted from first and second AND logic circuits. When the left-hand contact of the turn switch is turned on in this state, the left front turn lamp flashes, based on a signal outputted from a flasher circuit, whereas the right front turn lamp keeps a turn-on state. On the other hand, when the right-hand contact of the turn switch is turned on, the right front-turn lamp flashes, based on a signal outputted from the flasher circuit, whereas the left front turn lamp keeps a turn-on state.

  • Patent number: 6150808
Abstract: A switching apparatus is provided which may be used for power window control systems of automotive vehicles. The switching apparatus includes an operating knob, a magnet, a magnetoresistive element, and a position determining circuit. The operating knob is manually shifted between a plurality of switching positions. The magnet moves according to the movement of the operating knob. The magnetoresistive element is placed in a magnetic field applied from the magnet and changes an electrical resistance thereof according to a variation in orientation of a magnetic flux applied to the magnetoresistive element resulting from the movement of the magnet. The position determining circuit monitors a change in electric resistance of the magnetoresistive element to determine the switching position of the operating member.
