Patent number: 8794606Abstract: A liquid sealed vibration isolating device has an elastically movable diaphragm capable of preventing elastic deformation of a relief valve to realize high damping while preventing a cavitation phenomenon. The relief valve is provided in the elastic movable diaphragm arranged in a partition member in order to open and close a leak passage so as to prevent occurrence of the cavitation phenomenon. The relief valve is integrally formed with a fixing portion of the elastic movable diaphragm. There is provided an upwardly open concavity that the relief valve faces. The relief valve is made thicker and provided with an opening and closing adjustment groove at a basal portion of its inclined wall. The opening and closing adjustment groove is formed with a locally thin bending portion functioning as a starting point of bending in an opening and closing operation of the relief valve.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2008Date of Patent: August 5, 2014Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Nobuo Kubo, Hiroshi Yanagase, Jun Saito, Masatomo Nishizaka

Patent number: 8490954Abstract: To form a relief valve for preventing the generation of the cavitation phenomenon into a simple and accurately operable structure, there are provided a central thin wall portion and a fixing portion in an elastic diaphragm provided in the partition member to have the fixing portion fixed in position. A relief valve is integrally formed with an outer peripheral portion of the fixing portion. The relief valve is provided with an inclined surface formed on the side of a secondary liquid chamber and a recessed portion opened on the side of a primary liquid chamber and has a difference in rigidity in the circumferential direction. When the primary liquid chamber turns negative pressure, a hydraulic liquid in the secondary liquid chamber opens the relief valve and leaks to the primary liquid chamber so as to prevent the generation of the cavitation phenomenon.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2007Date of Patent: July 23, 2013Assignees: Yamashita Rubber Kabushiki Kaisha, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Jun Saito, Masatomo Nishizaka, Nobuo Kubo, Hiroshi Yanagase

Patent number: 8011644Abstract: To block the transmission to a vehicle body side of the vibration due to the cavitation phenomenon occurred in a primary liquid chamber so as to prevent the generation of noises, at the same time, to make the device compact, and to improve the fitting accuracy to obtain the reliable positioning, a first metallic fitting and a second metallic fitting are connected by an insulator. A primary liquid chamber and a secondary liquid chamber formed inwardly are partitioned by a partition member and communicated therebetween by an orifice passage. The partition member is floatingly supported between an extended portion of the insulator and an outer peripheral thick wall portion of a diaphragm, and the tuning is performed to generate the rigid resonance at the predetermined frequency. An outer ring is provided in the outer peripheral thick wall portion so as to be securely fixed by a fixing portion formed by bending an end of an outer cylindrical fitting.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2007Date of Patent: September 6, 2011Assignees: Yamashita Rubber Kabushiki Kaisha, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Jun Saito, Masatomo Nishizaka, Nobuo Kubo, Hiroshi Yanagase

Patent number: 5054986Abstract: Heavy articles such as metal coils are transferred to and from storage locations in a storage area by a system of tracks and carriages including non-powered carriages which transport the articles directly and self-propelled carriages which move perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the non-powered carriages. The non-powered carriages are moved off and onto the self-propelled carriages by feeders carried by the self-propelled carriages. In one form of the invention, the above-mentioned self-propelled carriages are transferred to and from tracks in a parallel track array by an additional self-propelled carriage movable along a track extending perpendicular to the tracks of the parallel track array.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 1990Date of Patent: October 8, 1991Assignee: Tsubakimoto Chain Co.Inventors: Tadao Hirano, Hiroshi Yanagase

Patent number: 4971508Abstract: In a storage facility for heavy coils or the like, coils are transported to and from stationary rests by a first carriage which include a hydraulic lift. The first carriage is carried by a second carriage which moves perpendicularly to the path of the first carriage and which has its own heavy article-supporting rest. Transfer of heavy articles from rest to rest takes place by operation of the hydraulic lift in conjunction with lateral movement of the first carriage. The second carriage is self-propelled, and also carries a hydraulic pump unit for powering the lift through a flexible coupling which allows limited movement of the first carriage away from the second carriage. A third carriage, which is self-propelled and movable perpendicularly to the path of the second carriage, receives the second carriage to carry the second carriage, with a first carriage on it, to and away from the storage facility. The second and third carriages are movable independently of each other.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 1990Date of Patent: November 20, 1990Assignee: Tsubakimoto Chain Co.Inventors: JPX, Shoji Miyahara, Hiroshi Yanagase, Fusao Sonehara
