  • Patent number: 10492584
Abstract: A medium storage box includes a guide member and a liquid spraying mechanism. The guide member forms a stacking space for a medium. The liquid spraying mechanism sprays a liquid from a liquid spraying nozzle. The liquid spraying nozzle has a pipe section through which liquid flows, a first liquid spray hole and a second liquid spray hole. The first liquid spray hole sprays liquid in a direction that intersects an extension direction of the pipe section at substantially a right angle. The second liquid spray hole sprays liquid in a direction that is approximately the extension direction of the pipe section.

  • Patent number: 10013837
Abstract: A medium processing device includes: a drum that has a circular cylinder shape and that rotates about a rotation shaft; a tape that, together with a medium, is wrapped onto a drum circumferential face, this being a circumferential face of the drum; a reel onto which the tape is pre-wound, and from which the tape is pulled out accompanying rotation of the drum; and a rotation restriction mechanism. The rotation restriction mechanism includes a restriction section that is obstructed from moving by the tape wrapped onto the drum circumferential face, and that moves when the drum rotates in an unwind direction to unwind the tape such that the tape comes away from the drum circumferential face to expose a wrapping location of the tape onto the drum circumferential face, and a stopper section that abuts the restriction section so as to restrict rotation of the drum in the unwind direction.

  • Publication number: 20140159300
Abstract: The present invention provides a medium separating and supplying mechanism that may reduce the causes of jams and errors on a conveyance path and so forth from supply onward. Namely, by making the skew angle of a medium less than a limit angle ?max, at which skewing is regard to increase, when the medium reaches a gate portion, the present invention may prevent the medium from rotating at an overlap point in a direction in which the skew angle is increased, which occurs as a result of the medium reaching the overlap point.

  • Patent number: 5703637
Abstract: A retina direct display device provides an observer with the display of a plane image or a stereoscopic image. The retina direct display device is, for example, incorporated with an acoustic device to constitute a television receiver. The retina direct display device comprises a visible light conversion means, a retina projection means and an eye movement tracking means. The visible light conversion means converts an input video signal to a beam of visible light. The retina projection means deflects the beam horizontally and vertically so that retinas are raster scanned through pupils of both eyes by the deflected beam. The eye movement tracking means detects the movement direction of the pupils and permits the direction of the beam emitted from the retina projection means to track the movement of the pupils based on the result of the detection.

  • Patent number: 5364823
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for manufacturing an inorganic porous layered member which can maintain a sufficient distance between layers to show a high degree of heat insulating properties. In the manufacturing method for the inorganic porous layered member according to the present invention, an inorganic layered compound 12 having swelling charecteristics is swelled, and an inorganic pillar and an organic pillar are intercalated to form inorganic compound 16 between layers 14 of the inorganic layered compound 12. Fine gaps are thus formed in a wide range by the intercalation of the inorganic compound 16 between the layers 14 to maintain a sufficient distance between the layers 14, and the inorganic porous layered member 10 having high heat insulating properties is thus produced.

  • Patent number: 4339717
Abstract: In a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer, this invention relates to an improvement of a lock system for stabilizing a magnetic field intensity. It is an object of the present invention to dissolve a low stability by using a conventional voltage control oscillator and a complex operation in the case of varying a reference material for locking. In the present invention, a radio frequency of a high stable reference frequency source is demultiplied by a variable frequency divider so that a frequency modulation or a modulation of the magnetic field is effected by the output thus demultiplied. When the reference material is changed, the operation can easily be made by varying the demultiplication ratio of the variable frequency divider.

  • Patent number: 4321537
Abstract: In a Fourier transform nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer, as is known, a pulse modulated radio frequency is applied to a sample placed in a magnetic field, and a free induction decay signal resulting from the above application is Fourier transformed to obtain a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum. In such a spectrometer, a material having a predetermined resonance peak, for example, tetramethylsilane is used as a reference sample, and the center frequency of the pulse modulated radio frequency is successively varied while maintaining a constant magnetic field intensity. The position of peak of tetramethylsilane in frequency spectra thus obtained is varied with the change of the center frequency. By measuring successively the signal strength of the peak, there can be obtained a frequency characteristic of a receiving system employed in the spectrometer, which is used to obtain correction coefficients of the receiving system.

  • Patent number: 4210861
Abstract: Continuous high-frequency waves and pulse-like high-frequency waves of the same frequency are selectively applied to a specimen placed in a unidirectional magnetic field, whereby resonance signals and free induction decay signals are selectively produced by the specimen. These signals are detected, and the detected free induction decay signals are Fourier-transformed, so that the continuous wave nuclear gyromagnetic resonance and the Fourier-transformed nuclear gyromagnetic resonance can be selectively measured.
