  • Publication number: 20240103781
Abstract: A processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: receive a change request for a change to a quiet mode in an image forming apparatus that is operating in a normal mode and to which a printing instruction has been issued; and display the change request for the change to the quiet mode on an operation screen of the image forming apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20240094570
Abstract: A light absorption anisotropic layer used in a viewing angle control system which has high image visibility from a desired direction and can sufficiently block images from other directions, an optical film, a viewing angle control system, and an image display device using the light absorption anisotropic layer. The light absorption anisotropic layer is formed of a liquid crystal composition containing a liquid crystalline compound, a dichroic substance, and an alignment agent, in which a content of the dichroic substance is 8.0% by mass or more with respect to a total solid content mass of the liquid crystal composition, and an angle ? between a transmittance central axis of the light absorption anisotropic layer and a normal direction of a surface of the light absorption anisotropic layer is 5° or more and less than 80°.

  • Patent number: 8130325
Abstract: A scene change detecting circuit (1) detects a scene change of video. An average luminance level operating circuit (2) calculates an average luminance level (APL) of a video signal (VD). A luminance overdrive amount calculating circuit (3) calculates a luminance overdrive amount (OD) based on the average luminance level (APL). A time-linked attenuating circuit (7) outputs a power consumption limit correction amount (PA) by attenuating the luminance overdrive amount (OD) with an elapse of time from a point in time of detecting the scene change. An adder (8) adds the power consumption limit correction amount (PA) and a reference power consumption limit value (Lp) to output the addition result as a power consumption limit amount (PL). An ABL circuit (4) calculates a luminance limit amount (BL) based on luminance limit characteristics, the average luminance level (APL) and the power consumption limit amount (PL).

  • Patent number: 4740064
Abstract: A zoom lens apparatus comprises sensors for detecting relative positions of a variable power lens group and a compensating lens group, a memory for pre-storing compensating data peculiar to the zoom lens apparatus, a control circuit and driving parts for moving the variable power lens group and the compensating lens group. The control circuit compares position data set by a variable power setting operation and position data obtained from the sensors and outputs signals for controlling the relative positions of the variable power lens group and the compensating lens group based on the compensating data read out from the memory. The driving parts vary the relative positions of the variable power lens group and the compensating lens group responsive to the output signals of the control circuit.
