  • Publication number: 20240128808
Abstract: A stator for a rotating electric machine includes a stator core and a stator coil. The stator core is formed of a band-shaped steel sheet that is helically bent and laminated. The stator core has slots each opening at an inner periphery of the stator core and spaced from one another in a circumferential direction. The stator coil is formed of electrical conductor segments that are inserted in the slots of the stator core and connected with one another. The band-shaped steel sheet has slits each of which is formed, at a position corresponding to one of the slots, to be open to the corresponding slot. Each of the electrical conductor segments is substantially U-shaped and has a pair of leg portions respectively inserted in corresponding two of the slots of the stator core; the corresponding two slots are circumferentially apart from each other by two or more slot-pitches.

  • Publication number: 20240120780
Abstract: A rotary electric machine includes a rotor core and a stator core. The rotor core includes a steel plate laminated in an axial direction of a rotation shaft of a rotor. The stator core is provided outside an outer periphery of the rotor core and includes a steel plate laminated in the axial direction. An average plate thickness of the steel plate of the stator core is smaller than an average plate thickness of the steel plate of the rotor core. In the steel plate of the stator core, a plate thickness of a portion between a predetermined position and a radially outer edge in a radial direction around the rotation axis is smaller than a plate thickness of a portion between the predetermined position and a radially inner edge in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 11728705
Abstract: A rotating electrical machine is equipped with a stator including a stator winding and a stator core with slots. The stator winding includes phase coils each of which is wound in the slots and connected at an end to a phase terminal and at the other end to a neutral point. The phase coils are each made up of unit coils connected in series between a corresponding one of the phase terminals and the neutral point and connected together using connecting conductors. Each of the phase coils includes two or more reversing connecting conductors each of which orients a direction in which the connecting conductor extends from the (i+1)th unit coil to the (i+2)th unit coil to be opposite to that in which the connecting conductor extends from the ith unit coil to the (i+1)th unit coil. This coil layout ensures a desired degree of electrical insulation in the stator.

  • Patent number: 10527498
Abstract: A sensor device includes a sensor element detecting a temperature of an attachment member to which the sensor device is attached. The sensor device includes a flexible substrate that includes a base having a first surface and a second surface and made of an electrically insulating material, and a land disposed adjacent to the first surface and electrically connected to the sensor element. The sensor device further includes: a rigid member adhered to the second surface; a flexible member that has a thermal conductivity and a flexibility higher than those of the base, is stacked on the rigid member to be in contact with the rigid member on a side opposite to the flexible substrate, and is to be in contact with the attachment member in an attached state; and a pressing member that presses the flexible substrate toward the attachment member in the attached state.
