  • Patent number: 7089671
Abstract: A circular saw (1) includes a base plate (2) and a saw blade assembly (3) including a lower blade guard (9) for covering a saw blade (6). The blade guard includes a sleeve portion (10) rotatably fitted on a bearing box (8) coupled to the saw blade assembly and a sectoral portion (11) extending radially from the sleeve portion in the rear of the blade. A connecting bar (13) projects radially rearward from the sectoral portion. A spring (14) is stretched between the top of the connecting bar (13) and a lower rear portion of an upper blade guard (4) close to the base plate. When not in use, torque, generated as the product of the spring's tensile force and the perpendicular distance (S) from the line of action or the force to the axis of rotation (O), rotates the blade guard to a closed position.

  • Patent number: 6887106
Abstract: A shielding connector has a female and male housings (30; 60), each of which has an inner housing (31, 61) that accommodates terminal fittings (20; 25). Metal shells (50, 80) are mounted on the peripheries of the inner housings (31, 61) and electromagnetically shield the female and male terminal fittings (20; 25) when the housings (30; 60) are connected. The metal shells (50; 80) are configured to achieve secure mounting, effective shielding and a small cross section. A detector (90) is provided to ensure complete connection and is configured to prevent inadvertent separation of the housings (30; 60).

  • Patent number: 6764329
Abstract: A waterproof resilient plug (20) has a trunk portion (11) to be brought into close contact with the inner circumferential surface of a terminal insertion hole (C) and a fixing portion (12) extending from the leading end of the trunk (11) and to be pressed against the outer circumferential surface of a wire (W) by insulation barrels (20a). The plug (20) is formed along its longitudinal axis with a wire insertion hole (13) that can be brought into close resilient contact with the outer surface of the (W). An inner diameter of the wire insertion hole (13) aligned with the fixing portion (12) is smaller than the one at the side of trunk (11), whereby the fixing portion (12) can be held strongly in close contact with the outer surface of the wire (W).

  • Patent number: 6572400
Abstract: The invention improves the assembly operation of a connector provided with a detecting member. A female housing 20 is provided with a locking arm 33 capable of engaging with a locking protrusion 14 of a male housing 10. A detecting member 50 capable of moving in an anterior-posterior direction is attached to an upper face of this locking arm 33. The detecting member 50 has an operating member 53 joined to a posterior end of a main body 51 by a hinge 52. A finger engages from the posterior with the operating member 53 to push in the detecting member 50, this detecting member 50 being pushed in its direction of fitting in an inclined downwards direction. When the detecting member 50 is in a waiting position, the operating member 53 thereof is located above a posterior portion of the upper face of the locking arm 33. This posterior portion of the upper face of the locking arm 33 has a guiding inclined face 44 formed thereon, this guiding inclined face 44 being inclined downwards in the pushing-in direction.
