    Abstract: A handlebar-mounted switch control device includes switch activation buttons which respectively correspond to specific switches, and which are arranged on surfaces of a switch case adjacent to a grip in an end portion of a handlebar. Two switch activation buttons are disposed on a front outer surface of the switch case. The two switch activation buttons are configured and placed in such a way so that a rider can easily recognize which of the two switch activation buttons the rider touches. The second switch activation button is placed above the first switch activation button, and inward of the first switch activation button in a vehicle width direction. A guide surface inclining to extend inward in the vehicle width direction toward an upper side is formed on a side surface of the switch case which is above the first switch activation button, and which faces the grip.

    Abstract: A battery holding structure includes a battery tray for storing a battery therein. A battery holding rack is configured to store the battery tray with the battery stored therein and to allow the battery tray to be pulled out along widthwise directions of the vehicle. A ground wire has one end connected to a negative terminal of the battery and another end connected to a grounding member on a vehicle frame. A movement prevention member fixes the other end of the ground wire to the battery tray and prevents the battery tray from being pulled out to one side along the widthwise directions of the vehicle with the ground wire which is connected to the grounding member.

    Abstract: A carrier recovery circuit, adapted to a demodulation circuit according to a quasi-coherent detection method for generating baseband signals by way of quadrature detection on a received signal having an intermediate frequency, rotates phases of baseband signals; detects a phase error and an amplitude error; controls a bandwidth of a loop filter based on its difference, eliminates a high-frequency component from the phase error; and performs phase rotation based on the phase error eliminating its high-frequency component. It expands the bandwidth of the loop filter when a difference between the phase error and the amplitude error is greater than a predetermined threshold, whilst reducing bandwidth of the loop filter upon determining that the amplitude error decreases due to a reduction of the bandwidth of the loop filter. This optimizes the bandwidth of the loop filter to follow variations of the C/N ratio of the received signal, improving bit error rate.
