Feature quantity retention sections (11a) and (11b) extract a feature quantity for each of the feature points and retain them along with positional information of the feature points. A feature quantity comparison section (12) compares the feature quantities with each other to calculate the similarity or the dissimilarity and generates a candidate-associated feature point pair having a high possibility of correspondence. A model attitude estimation section (13) repeats an operation of projecting an affine transformation parameter determined by three pairs randomly selected from the candidate-associated feature point pair group onto a parameter space. The model attitude estimation section (13) assumes each member in a cluster having the largest number of members formed in the parameter space to be an inlier.

    Abstract: A method for crystallizing a low molecular weight aromatic polycarbonate effectively and a method for preparing a polycarbonate resin having a desired intrinsic viscosity by using the polycarbonate crystallized with the above method of crystallization. A low molecular weight aromatic polycarbonate (preferably, the one produced by melt polycondensation) is crystallized by bringing it into contact with an aromatic monohydroxy compound or a mixture of said compound and water. Or, a low molecular weight aromatic polycarbonate is melt mixed with at least one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of aromatic monohydroxy compounds, carbonic acid diester compounds and aromatic dihydroxy compounds to crystallize the low molecular weight aromatic polycarbonate. The crystallized product is heated at a temperature lower than its melting point under reduced pressure or in an inert gas flow to convert it into a high polymerized state.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a matrix electrode structure in which flicker of picture images displayed on a panel is invisible. Scanning electrodes of the matrix are driven by alternating voltages which include voltages for holding picture images displayed on the panel. Refresh pulse voltages higher than the holding voltages are imposed on the scanning electrodes every time the polarity of the holding voltages is reversed, so that the brightness of the picture images does not change before and after the reversing of the holding voltage polarity. In case an anti-ferroelectric liquid crystal is used as the liquid crystal, the refresh pulse voltages which cause transitions of the liquid crystal states between positive ferroelectric and negative ferroelectric states and do not cause the transition from an anti-ferroelectric state to the ferroelectric states are imposed on the scanning electrodes.

Serial interrupt request signals sent via the serial transfer line are converted into ISA interrupt request signals. Ones of ISA interrupt request signals sent via the ISA bus and the ISA interrupt request signals subjected to serial/parallel conversion are selected for each of same priority levels therebetween. Priority levels are allocated to PCI interrupt request signals sent via the PCI bus. Ones of the PCI interrupt request signals allocated priority levels and the ISA interrupt request signals selected by the first selecting circuit are selected for each of same priority levels therebetween. Polarity of ones of the PCI interrupt request signals and the ISA interrupt request signals selected by the first selecting circuit is reversed, so that the polarity of signals is unified.
