The construction machine includes an upper slewing body having an air intake chamber capable of taking in air, an engine, the electrical component, an air intake duct guiding the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine, a blow fan directing the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine through the air intake duct, and electrical-component cover covering the electrical component. The electrical-component cover defines an air flow path for flowing air along the electrical component, between the electrical-component cover and the electrical component thereinside. The electrical-component cover includes an air inlet communicating an upstream portion of the air flow path with the air intake chamber and an air outlet communicating a downstream portion of the air intake chamber with the air intake duct.
