  • Publication number: 20110118113
Abstract: Disclosed is an exhaust gas purifying catalyst, including Rh/Y—ZrO2 particles obtained by supporting Rh on zirconia support particles which contain yttria, wherein yttria is contained in an amount of 2˜9 mol % in the support particles. The exhaust gas purifying catalyst exhibits a superior high-temperature durability because the zirconia support can resist heat, thereby particularly increasing the structure retaining power and the thermal stability of Rh.

  • Publication number: 20110079001
Abstract: An upstream catalyst and a downstream catalyst are arranged in series and are housed in a common casing disposed in an engine exhaust passage. The upstream catalyst including a NOx storage-reduction catalyst that adsorbs NOx contained in incoming exhaust gas when the air-fuel ratio of the incoming exhaust gas is lean, and releases and reduces the adsorbed NOx when the air-fuel ratio of the incoming exhaust gas becomes rich, and the downstream catalyst includes a three-way catalyst. The upstream catalyst has a higher oxidizing capability than the downstream catalyst, and the downstream catalyst has a higher reducing capability than the upstream catalyst. The upstream catalyst has a multi-layer structure including an upper layer and a lower layer, and is prepared such that the upper layer has a higher oxidizing capability than the lower layer, and the lower layer has a higher reducing capability than the upper layer.

  • Patent number: 4362104
Abstract: Flexographic printing press for printing on the corrugated board sheets passing between the printing cylinder provided with a form plate on its peripheral surface and the receiving roll. Flexographic ink stored between a doctor roll and an anilox roll, which are rotated in the opposite directions as these rolls contact each other, is supplied to said form plate via said anilox roll to thereby carry out a printing operation. Said anilox roll is driven by said printing cylinder at same peripheral speed. Said doctor roll is driven by a speed change drive mechanism for reducing the peripheral speed of said doctor roll when the rotational speed of said anilox roll is increased, and increasing the peripheral speed of said doctor roll when the rotational speed of said anilox roll is decreased.

  • Patent number: 4331053
Abstract: There is provided a rotary die cutter for effecting a punching and scribing on a sheet which is fed between a die cylinder and an anvil cylinder disposed in parallel with said die cylinder. The die cylinder is adapted to be rotated in a predetermined direction and provided on its peripheral surface with a knife and a scribing rule. The anvil cylinder is adapted to be rotated in the opposite direction to the die cylinder and provided on its peripheral surface with an anvil for receiving the knife and the scribing rule. There is a mechanism for adjusting the clearance between the die cylinder and the anvil cylinder. A blade carrier is disposed adjacent to the anvil cylinder and slidable in the axial direction of the anvil cylinder. A cutting blade capable of cutting the anvil surface is attached to the blade carrier in such a manner as to move toward and away from the axis of the anvil cylinder.

  • Patent number: 4311475
Abstract: A device for counting and delivering sheets which accumulates a plurality of paste-applied and folded cardboard sheets, delivered by a paste-applying and folding machine, in a hopper for delivery to a next step in batches of a prescribed number of sheets. A counter is employed to count the individual sheets as they are being accumulated in the hopper for further processing. A plurality of ledges reciprocal in a vertical direction and projectable into the sheets being accumulated in the hopper divide the sheets into batches of the prescribed number as a function of the sheets having been counted. The batches are then removed from the hopper and delivered to a binding machine which is adapted to bind the cardboard sheets as a next step.

  • Patent number: 4224851
Abstract: A scrap knockout for use with a rotary punching apparatus includes a knife cylinder equipped with punch blades on the outer peripheral surface, and an anvil cylinder having a layer against which the blades are pressed, so as to punch a workpiece fed in between the two rotating cylinders. The scrap knockout is so arranged that each of the punch blades is formed with a cut or slot, and a scrap knockout lever is engaged with the cut or slot so as to be restricted in its upward and downward movements, with one end of the knockout lever is a free end located in the space surrounded by the punch blade and the other end is pivotally held by a punch blade support, so that the scrap formed by the punching can be removed by the upward motion of the lever.
