Abstract: Provided is an ophthalmic surgery instrument that is capable of simplifying the structure of a rod-shaped portion, which is inserted into an eyeball during ophthalmic surgery, and that is suitable for excising a to-be-excised part of the eyeball. The ophthalmic surgery instrument includes a rod-shaped portion that is inserted into an eyeball during ophthalmic surgery. The rod-shaped portion has a single passage formed therein so as to penetrate from one end portion thereof to another end portion thereof. A bent portion is formed at a tip end of the rod-shaped portion. A liquid is caused to flow through the passage to flow out from a tip end opening portion of the passage or a to-be-excised part is sucked through the passage while excising the to-be-excised part with the bent portion.

Abstract: Provided is an eyeball attachment tube that is temporarily attached to an outer membrane of an eyeball in ophthalmic surgery for communication between the inside and the outside of the eyeball such that the eyeball attachment tube is inhibited from becoming unstable when attached in a direction deviating from a direction perpendicular to the external surface of the eyeball. An eyeball attachment tube includes: a tubular portion configured to be in a state of puncturing an outer membrane when the eyeball attachment tube is attached to the outer membrane; and a large diameter portion which is disposed on a proximal end side of the tubular portion. An end portion of the large diameter portion on the tubular portion side is formed as a plane inclined relative to a center axis of the tubular portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is a site monitoring method executed by a computer that can connect to a client machine. The computer transmits Web data for a Web page included in a Web site to the client machine in response to the request from the client machine and stores information about a displaying history of Web pages into a storage provided with the computer. The computer counts a repeating number for a predetermined Web page as an accumulated repeating number when the information shows that the predetermined Web page is repetitively displayed with intervention of another Web page. The computer judges that a user lost his or her way in the Web site when the accumulated repeating number exceeds a predetermined value. When a user lose his or her way in the Web site, the computer transmits guidance information to the client machine, guiding the user to the desired Web page.

Abstract: Learning material information containing a fixed attribute specifying learning materials and a variable attribute by which at least levels specifying an object person of learning are defined, is registered in a database of a learning material management system. When the learning request is received by the system from a learning applicant, with reference to the variable attribute of the learning material information registered in the database, a learning material adapted to a level of the learning applicant according to the learning request is selected to be provided for the learning applicant, and on the other hand, the variable attribute of the learning material information registered in the database is updated according to a learning result of the learning material by the learner.
