  • Publication number: 20070006242
Abstract: To provide a disk drive equipped with a tray that moves along a guide rail provided on a body frame in which the tray does not tilt downward under its own weight when extended, rails are provided along both sides of the tray, and a plurality of guide ribs are provided on both sidewalls of the body frame projecting inwardly therefrom for guiding the rails of the tray. A presser rib rises from the bottom of the body frame near the front of the frame and has a contacting part projecting inwardly from its end. A high horizontal rail part higher than the front-end part side is formed on top of a rear end part side of each of the rails, so that the contacting part of the presser rib contacts and presses against the high horizontal rail part.

  • Publication number: 20060139873
Abstract: In order to provide an electronic instrument having a recording and reproduction device mounted on a chassis via buffer members in which number of components forming legs is reduced and the recording and reproduction is protected from shock or vibration, the buffer members are extended to a downside of the chassis. The recording and reproduction device has four legs, which each of the legs has a support shaft extended downward for screw-clamping a buffer member having a shaft hole for mounting. Through-holes for inserting the buffer members are formed in the chassis at points corresponding to the legs respectively, and size of the through-holes allows the buffer members fitting into and allows the buffer members fixing to the chassis respectively due to elastic deformation when the buffer members are screw-clamped to the support shafts.

  • Publication number: 20060026619
Abstract: The invention provides an optical disk device capable of preventing noise from being generated when removing the optical disk from a clamp portion clamping the optical disk. The optical disk 2 is fixed horizontally on a clamp portion 4 of a turntable 3 capable of being moved in an arc. A mounting surface 10A of a tray 10 on which the optical disk 2 is placed is inclined. Thereby, when the optical disk 2 is moved in an arc and pressed onto the tray 10 to be detached from the clamp portion 4, the mounting surface 10A is inclined so that the optical disk maintains contact with the mounting surface 10A of the tray when being detached from the clamp portion 4, by which the generation of noise caused by the optical disk 2 being lifted from the tray 10 and falling on the tray 10 by its own weight can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20050216928
Abstract: The present invention aims at providing a guide shaft holding mechanism and disk device with guide shaft holding mechanism which allow, when a guide shaft is fixed using a hook, the guide shaft to be stably guided between guide walls which regulate the movement of the guide shaft in a radial direction. A holding member 5 which holds an end of a guide shaft 4 includes a base 7, a pair of right and left guide walls 8A, 8B disposed upright on both sides of the base 7 facing each other, a stopper section 9 having flexibility disposed upright at a back end of the base 7 and a hooking section 10 provided at one end of the stopper section 9. One guide wall 8A is formed to be higher than the stopper section 9 and can push the outer surface of the guide shaft 4 against the guide wall 8A before the guide shaft 4 is engaged with the hooking section 10. This allows the guide shaft 4 to be stably guided between the guide walls 8A, 8B with the guide shaft 4 being guided along the guide wall 8A.
