Publication number: 20230204442Abstract: A sensor system includes a sensor element, a signal processing circuit, and a pseudo-signal correction circuit. The sensor element outputs an electric signal corresponding to an external force. The signal processing circuit converts the electric signal coming from the sensor element into a signal having a certain signal format and then outputs the signal thus converted. The pseudo-signal correction circuit corrects a pseudo-signal outputted by the sensor element. When receiving a test signal, the sensor element performs a self-diagnosis based on the test signal and then outputs the pseudo-signal, which represents a result of the self-diagnosis. The pseudo-signal correction circuit corrects the pseudo-signal based on environment information about an environment where at least one of the sensor element or the signal processing circuit is located.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Takeshi MORI, Toshio YAMAZAKI, Isao HATTORI, Hirotsugu SUZUKI

Patent number: 8158876Abstract: A keyboard apparatus having hammers each adapted for contact at its mass-unconcentrated half with a lower surface of an initial stopper that restricts initial pivot positions of the hammers, thereby reducing a contact force with which each hammer contacts the initial stopper, whereby the required thickness of the initial stopper can be reduced and height positions of key-depression surfaces of the keys in a non-key-depression state can be made uniform with ease. In the non-key-depression state, the hammers are in contact with the lower surface of the initial stopper mounted to a stopper mounting portion of the frame, whereby initial pivot positions of the hammers in a key-depression forward stroke are restricted and key-depression initial positions of respective keys are indirectly restricted, so that the height positions of key-depression surfaces of the keys are made uniform.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2009Date of Patent: April 17, 2012Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Mitsuru Kitajima, Hirotsugu Suzuki

Patent number: 7936349Abstract: A safety circuit 16 for monitoring the waveform of a start signal outputted from a microcomputer 40a is provided in a power supply circuit. If a start signal inputted to the safety circuit 16 is not a pulse wave, a power supply cutoff section 16c cuts off the output of the start signal to a DC/AC circuit 13, thereby cutting off the supply of power by the DC/AC circuit 13 from a primary side to a secondary side. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the supply of power by the power supply circuit without providing an additional microcomputer or IC for monitoring a failure and a temporary malfunction of a control microcomputer and to safely prevent the supply of power at the time of a latch-up caused by noise or a breakage.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2007Date of Patent: May 3, 2011Assignee: Funai Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hirotsugu Suzuki
