  • Patent number: 7614144
Abstract: The present invention is intended to realize a hold posture inspection of a plurality of components sucked by a plurality of nozzle rows provided on a head with a single scanning operation, thereby reducing the time for the hold posture inspection and improving the accuracy thereof. In order to achieve such objections, the present invention includes: a head on which at least two nozzle rows are disposed, each of which includes at least one nozzle; a circuit board holding unit for holding a circuit board on which components conveyed by the head are mounted; and an inspection unit, provided on a moving path of the head from a supplying unit to the circuit board holding unit, for inspecting hold postures of the components held by the nozzles of the head and including sensors for posture inspection independent for the respective nozzle rows.

  • Patent number: 7367115
Abstract: A component mounting apparatus having a work conveyor-positioner unit is arranged on a supporting base to convey and position a substrate in an X direction. Supporting frames extend vertically from ends of the supporting base and face each other in a Y direction. The component mounting apparatus further includes a plurality of Y-axis tables extending between upper ends of the supporting frames, X-axis tables attached to movable portions of the Y-axis tables, and operating heads attached to movable portions of the X-axis tables to perform operations with respect to the substrate on the work conveyor-positioner unit. Each of the plurality of the Y-axis tables includes a movable portion at a lower part. Each of the X-axis tables includes a movable portion at a lower part and the operating heads are attached to a lower part of the movable portion of the X-axis tables.

  • Patent number: 7065863
Abstract: The present invention has for its object to provide a mechanism for preventing a liquid from splashing from a liquid tank, and a component mounting apparatus with this liquid splashing prevention mechanism. The liquid splash prevention mechanism has a first seal member with a circumferential outer face attached to a first driving lever in a lubricating oil tank, and a second seal member with an arc face set in the lubricating oil tank correspondingly to the first seal member so that a sealing gap for preventing lubricating oil from scattering is formed between the first seal member and the second seal member. Moreover, the lubricating oil is filled in the sealing gap. Scattering of the lubricating oil is more surely prevented by this arrangement. Quality degradation to be caused by adhesion of the lubricating oil to printed boards and the like can be prevented, and productivity can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20060042075
Abstract: A substrate conveyor-positioner unit for conveying and positioning a substrate in an X direction is arranged on a supporting base. Supporting frames are arranged in a standing manner on both ends in a Y direction being orthogonal to the X direction on the supporting base. A component supplying unit is arranged on at least one end side in the Y direction on the supporting base. A plurality of Y-axis tables is laid between upper ends of the both supporting frames at an appropriate interval. An X-axis table is attached to a movable portion of each Y-axis table. An operating head for holding a component by suction at the component supplying unit and for mounting the component on the substrate on the substrate conveyor-positioner unit is attached to a movable portion of the X-axis table. Moreover, a height of upper ends of the supporting frames is located below eyes of a worker to enable the worker to visually confirm conditions of mounting operations.
