  • Patent number: 8111869
Abstract: A speaker device includes a damper allowing high linearity. The speaker device includes a vibration body including a damper and a voice coil bobbin (bobbin), and a magnetic circuit having a plate. The damper has a first member arranged opposite the plate, and a second member projecting on a side of the plate from the first member. The first member has a movable part elastically supporting the bobbin. The movable part is a flat plate, and behaves with respect to a bent part provided between the movable part and the second member with movement of the bobbin in an acoustic radiation direction and reverse. Therefore, when a constant force is given to the damper via the voice coil, a displacement of the damper with respect to a rest position can be substantially similar in such a case that the damper behaves in the acoustic radiation direction and the reverse.

  • Publication number: 20110228949
Abstract: A speaker device prevents “squeaking” based on the difference between propagation speed of a vibration propagated through a center cap and propagation speed of a vibration propagated through a diaphragm. The speaker device includes a vibrating body (VB), a driving part (magnetic circuit) driving the VB, and a frame supporting the VB and the driving part (magnetic circuit). The VB includes a voice coil (VC), a VC supporting part supporting the VC, a diaphragm group, and a driving member whose inner circumference portion is supported by the VC supporting part and which transmits VC vibration to the diaphragm group. The driving member includes a supporting part supporting the diaphragm group. A first connecting part is provided between the diaphragm group and the driving member and on the inner side with respect to the supporting part. The diaphragm group is connected to the driving member via the first connecting part.

  • Publication number: 20060008107
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to reduce a playback distortion and make it possible to output a large volume sound in a low frequency area, without increasing the diameter of subwoofer or woofer. A speaker device comprises a speaker unit, a diaphragm of the speaker unit disposed at an opening of a baffle plate, and a compression board disposed opposite to a radiation surface of the diaphragm in a manner such that a predetermined interval is formed between the compression board and the baffle plate.

  • Patent number: 5822444
Abstract: A loudspeaker having a magnetizable pole piece, a voice coil member surrounding the pole piece with a portion of magnetic gap and connected to a vibratable diaphragm, and a damper supporting the voice coil member, is characterized in that an elastic member is provided between the pole piece and the voice coil member in the magnetic gap wherein an elastic member is made of an elastic material having an elastic constant substantially 1.5 times or more than that of the damper. In addition, the elastic material is made of a silicone rubber.
