  • Publication number: 20060021399
Abstract: A compact steering lock that resists breakage includes a housing having an opening through which an internal component is inserted. The housing includes an exterior wall having a through hole for receiving a connector. The through hole is spaced from the opening. This prevents the housing from cracking at the end surface extending around the opening when external stress is applied to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20060022523
Abstract: A steering lock that is easy to assemble includes an ECU case having a first terminal. The first terminal has an end for directly contacting an input terminal of a motor. A component for connecting the first terminal of the ECU case and the input terminal of the motor is not necessary. The other end of the first terminal is directly connected to an electric circuit of a steering lock ECU. This eliminates the need for an additional component connecting the first terminal and the steering lock ECU.

  • Publication number: 20060021398
Abstract: A steering lock that is easy to assemble but difficult for an automobile thief to dismantle. The steering lock includes a cover on which a support structure for supporting a lock mechanism is integrally formed. The lock mechanism is attached to the cover to assemble a first subunit. A steering lock ECU is attached to an ECU case to assemble a second subunit. The first subunit is attached to the second subunit to assemble a lock unit. The lock unit is attached to the housing. A bolt fastens the lock unit and the housing to each other. A second connector is then attached to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20050020212
Abstract: A controller enabling switching between a smart function and an immobilizer function without using a key cylinder or a slot. The controller includes a verification ECU for transmitting a request signal to a first area and transmitting a transponder drive radio wave to a second area. The portable device transmits an ID code signal in response to the request signal or the transponder drive radio wave. The verification ECU enables the starting of an engine when the ID code transmitted from the portable device matches an ID code of the controller. The verification ECU transmits the drive radio wave when a driver operates a switch in a state in which the starting of the engine is not enabled after the request signal is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20040093250
Abstract: A CPU 2, a ROM 3, a RAM 4 and an input/display part 5 are connected to a POS main unit 1. A communication part 6 is connected to the CPU 2 for transmitting and receiving data to and from a handy terminal 10 and a kitchen 17. In a main cooking menu 7, data of main cooking names are collectively stored. In a sub-cooking menu 8, three different cooking forms, i.e., “increase”, “deletion” and “addition” are described for each sub-cooking name. A check table 9 is provided as a data check table for checking whether a combination of one of a plurality of main cooking names of the main cooking menu 7 and one of a plurality of sub-cooking names of the sub-cooking menu 8 is proper.

  • Patent number: 6575049
Abstract: A shift lever device in which a shift lever lock mechanism is not released inadvertently, and improper operation is prevented. In the shift lever device, a lock plate, which impedes movement of a detent rod, is covered by a cavity portion of a shift lever. These internal devices are covered by a cover box and a detent plate. In a P shift position, a gap formed by, on the one hand, the cover box and the detent plate, and, on the other hand, the shift lever and the cavity portion thereof, is a labyrinthine structure which is stepped along a horizontal direction. Accordingly, improper operation can be further prevented.

  • Patent number: 6568228
Abstract: In a shift lever device of the present invention, when a lever is positioned at a “P” shift position and an ignition key is positioned at a “LOCK” position, a lock bar impedes swivel of a lock plate, and the lever cannot be shifted. If the lever is not positioned at the “P” shift position, the lock bar retains rotation of a cam, and the ignition key cannot be moved to the “LOCK” position. By forming a lock body integrally with the shift lever device, a shift lock mechanism can be used as an anti-theft device. Further, a key interlock mechanism serving as a safety device of the shift lever device can be provided easily.

  • Patent number: 6508090
Abstract: A shift lever device in which, by the integration with a key cylinder, a reduction in the use of space, simplification, cost reduction and weight lightening can be achieved. The shift lever device is such that the lever supported by a lock body that houses the key cylinder, and a first cam and second cam are provided integrally with the key cylinder. A shift lock pin and starter lock pin are provided in the lock body, and the first insertion hole, in which the shift lock pin is inserted by the first cam, and a second insertion hole and third insertion hole in which a starter lock pin is inserted by the second cam, are provided in a detent plate fixed in the shift lever. As a result, the shift lever device is integrated with the key cylinder and, for this reason, a reduction in the space for the mounting thereof, and moreover, as the connector components with the vehicle become unnecessary, a simplification, cost reduction and weight lightening, can be achieved.
