  • Publication number: 20100181842
Abstract: According to a first aspect, a secondary side of contactless power transmission apparatus includes: a holding member which is physically separated from a primary side; a magnetic layer; a shield layer for shielding electromagnetic noise; and a heat insulation layer. The secondary coil is a planar coil and supported by the holding member, and at least the magnetic layer is laminated on one side of the planar coil and unified with the planar coil. According to a second aspect, the secondary side of the apparatus includes a plurality of magnetic layers. Each permeability of the magnetic layers is different from each other, and each of the magnetic layers forms a magnetic path with the primary side.

  • Publication number: 20100177537
Abstract: To provide a power supply circuit which can be applied worldwide without using a high withstand voltage switching element and can supply a load device with stable power. A charging section is arranged between a turn-off capacitor and a load coil. The charging section has the anode connected to the positive terminal of a feedback coil and the cathode connected to the cathode of a zener diode. Thus, when a voltage of a commercial power supply is high, the charging section operates, the turn-off capacitor is quickly charged, an on-period of a transistor is shortened, and an excessive voltage is prevented from being applied between the drain and the source of the transistor. At the same time, an output characteristic indicating relationship between the voltage of the commercial power supply and a current flowing in the load device is permitted to be flat.

  • Publication number: 20090282693
Abstract: DC 5V shared with a shaver is inputted into a step-up circuit of a cleaner from a terminal of an AC adapter. When an oscillation circuit turns on/off an FET, the voltage is stepped up by using a choke coil, and the charge is accumulated in a capacitor. By using DC 24V of the stet-up result outputted from the capacitor, an electromagnetic induction heating circuit allows an FET to turn on/off the current flowing through a coil, the blade edge of the shaver is induction-heated. In this case, by applying a trigger pulse of the oscillation circuit through an inverter to the FET, the duty factor of the step-up circuit is high, and that of the electromagnetic induction heating circuit is low.

  • Publication number: 20090183384
Abstract: A drying device has a heating coil 5a that heats by electromagnetic induction a material to be dried that is placed on a dried material-placement part, and an air blower 6 that sends air to the material to be dried. A heated member 22 heated by electromagnetic induction of the heating coil 5a and temperature detection means for detecting temperature of the heated member 22 are also provided. The heated member 22 is disposed at a position where the temperature thereof changes under the influence of the air from the air blower 6.

  • Publication number: 20090172948
Abstract: A shaver using a fuel cell as the power supply for a motor to free the shaver from the constraints imposed by power supply wiring, thereby widening the selection range of storage place of shaver. Waste heat produced by power generation of the fuel cell is introduced through a heat pipe to the vicinity of an inner blade, and the fuel cell is also used as the heat source for heating the inner blade. Consequently, without use of a dedicated cleaner, drying of the shaver after it is washed by water can be promoted and the blade and a blade can be sterilized by heat.

  • Patent number: 7521820
Abstract: An electrical apparatus system includes a depilator (first electrical apparatus) that depilates body hair, a cleaning apparatus (second electrical apparatus) that cleans the depilatory and an AC adapter that supplies DC electric power to the depilator or the cleaning apparatus. Electric power can be supplied between both the electrical apparatuses by bringing a back surface terminal provided in the depilator and a connection terminal provided in the cleaning apparatus into contact with each other.

  • Patent number: 7514818
Abstract: A power supply system is capable of feeding electric power from a power adapter to a plurality of load devices. The power adapter includes a primary core; and a primary coil wound around the primary core for serving as a output port of the power adapter to output an alternating current. The load devices include secondary cores for simultaneously forming magnetic circuits between the primary core and the load devices; and secondary coils wound around the secondary cores for feeding output power to the load devices. The primary core has two pairs of protrusions, and the secondary cores are arranged on opposite sides of the primary core in such a manner that the primary core lies between the secondary cores to feed electric power simultaneously to the load devices.

  • Publication number: 20090031566
Abstract: In a cleaner, a fuel cell is provided as a power supply and power generated by the fuel cell is used for driving a pump which pumps up ethanol as cleaning liquid to a cleaning pan or a fan for drying, and also used for charging a shaver. Since the cleaner is not required to be installed in a water section unlike a conventional cleaner, a selection range of storage place of the shaver can be widened; since power supply wiring is not required, troublesomeness due to power supply wiring is eliminated and convenience is enhanced furthermore. Heat of the fuel cell is introduced through a heat pipe to the blade edge and used for drying it, thus enhancing energy utilization efficiency of the fuel cell.
