Patent number: 6823681Abstract: In a vehicular air conditioning control apparatus having a compressor and an electric cooling fan of an externally controlled type, a fan motor control for increasing fan motor load is carried out in a compressor discharge capacity region lower than in normal control in below-listed cases. (1) When a requested cooling performance is predicted to increase. (2) When a vehicle is brought into an idling state. (3) In cool down in which a requested cooling performance is predicted to increase to be equal to or larger than a set value, or when a vehicle is brought into an idling state.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2003Date of Patent: November 30, 2004Assignees: Calsonic Kansei Corporation, Suzuki Motor CorporationInventors: Ryuichi Hirose, Hiroyasu Nadamoto, Kazuo Masuko, Hajime Uchiyama

Patent number: 6767193Abstract: Between a cylinder block and a housing, there is disposed a valve base plate. The valve base plate is formed with mutually isolated first and second intake openings for fluidly communicating each of piston chambers in the cylinder block with an intake chamber defined in the housing. A reed valve element is incorporated with each piston chamber. The reed valve element is arranged to open the first and second intake openings with the aid of a fluid when the piston is moved away from the reed valve element and close the first and second intake openings with the aid of the fluid when the piston is moved toward the reed valve element. Due to provision of the two, viz., first and second intake openings, opening movement of the reed valve element is carried out along with a twisting motion of the same.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2002Date of Patent: July 27, 2004Assignee: Calsonic Kansei CorporationInventors: Ryuichi Hirose, Hiroyasu Nadamoto

Patent number: 5240385Abstract: In a variable displacement wobble plate type compressor, first, second and third connecting passages are defined. The first connecting passage fluidly connects a bellows chamber in which a bellows is installed with a suction chamber to which refrigerant from an evaporator is returned. The second connecting passage fluidly connects a discharge chamber and a crank chamber through a valve port. The discharge chamber is a chamber from which compressed refrigerant is discharged and the crank chamber is a chamber in which a wobble plate is operatively disposed. The bellows installed in the bellows chamber changes its volume in accordance with a pressure in the bellows chamber. A control valve controls the valve port in response to the volume change of the bellows. The third connecting passage is a passage which fluidly connects the suction passage and the crank chamber without using the bellows chamber as a part thereof.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 1992Date of Patent: August 31, 1993Assignee: Calsonic CorporationInventors: Toshio Nashiro, Toyokazu Aida, Hiroyasu Nadamoto
