  • Patent number: 5131367
Abstract: A method for controlling ignition timing of an internal combustion engine and an apparatus for practicing the method are disclosed which are adapted to determine ignition timing depending upon information on an engine speed detected, to thereby control the ignition timing. Pulsin signal counting is started evey time when a reference signal is generated from a signal generator to count first, second and third numbers N1, N2 and N3 of pulse signals, to thereby obtain information on an engine speed depending upon the difference between time T2 when the counting of the second number of pulse signals is completed and time T1 when that of the first number of pulse signals is completed, and then the information is used for obtaining ignition timing measuring time equal to a period of time between time T3 when the counting of the third number of pulse signals is completed and target ignition timing T1.

  • Patent number: 4566425
Abstract: An ignition system of the condensor-discharge type for an internal combustion engine is disclosed which is capable of preventing delay of the ignition position at a high engine speed due to an armature reaction and preventing generation of ignition spark at reverse rotation of the engine without using a signal coil for determining the ignition position.

  • Patent number: 4270265
Abstract: Electronic components and a conductor for connecting the electronic components are placed in the component positioning holes and the conductor positioning recess which are formed in a plate-shaped jig. The jig with the components and the conductor is placed over a mounting board, and the assembly of these elements is heated in a suitable furnace so that the electronic components are connected to the mounting board and the conductor simultaneously, thereby to reduce the number of steps of manufacturing the hybrid integrated circuit assembly.
